Moreover, destressed leather is as strong/ durable as caviar. It's a great leather. I enjoy mine! It's great to have a mini with double straps, so rare and understated!

2350 GBP for a mini? It's not far from the MAXI Reissue in Paris, 3400 euros! No big differences between the mini and the bigger one! The prices always increase! It is why a Chanel bag is always a good investment!
It is the same size that the actual one, but the leather is more destressed and a bit shinier for the Anniversary, I noticed (for the black ones, anyway).
well personally I would never buy the 226, so the price difference is irrelevant. I would buy what looks best on me proportionately. Far too many small/petite ladies carry disproportionately large bags. On some it looks ok, on others it looks like a shield.

Are you planning on getting one? I saw the 224 for the first time at Bond street last Friday in Black and Silver h/w.... It was gorgeous IRL! Or would you rather go for a colour??

I like both, small and oversized!
The advantage with the little Reissue is that you can carry it as a messenger if you are not too tall (I am 162 cm and it is perfect crossbody)

the silver is from the fall collection. It is lovely but I do not want a metallic as it would limit me somewhat. Ideally I want to use it with jeans casually, as as much as possible. I am waiting for the cruise colours which hopefully will include a navy or a grey... something like this one which is coming soon...
