I'm super super excited too but need to say that this "planned next purchase" is really a long way away. I need to save a lot of cash and I need to get the hubby "on board" with my plans!

But I have already cut and paste your recommendations onto my clipboard and will start visualizing it more clearly in my mind! I believe that when one visualizes something hard and often enough.. it tends to come true! Hehehe!

Thank you!!!

That is very true! Staying focused on what's important and reminding yourself will help make it happen :-) I totally understand the team effort concept and it will be that much more special once the day comes! :-)

I started looking online and I have a question..

Is "crinkled classic calfskin" the same as "distressed calf"?

And is distressed calf more durable than caviar? (my classic double flap is in caviar and I am happy with it). Does the reissue come in caviar?

Gosh, I just realized I have more than one question! I am so embarrassed to keep asking you but you're so nice and I am hoping you will help teach a reissue novice like me!

Oh you are too kind! :-) I have learned so much from this forum and my own experiences so I am happy to share and help in any way I can!

Regarding "crinkled classic calfskin" and "distressed calf", my guess is yes? But honestly I am not sure about this one, sorry.

My 226 and 224 are both distressed calf. I don't own any caviar reissues but I would think they're similar, depending on the batch. I have a caviar square mini flap but its a softer caviar than others I have felt so that can vary, making it hard to say. I also want to add that even between my two reissues the distressed calf is different. My 224 is more stiff and not as distressed while my 226 is softer and more distressed. So my advice would be to choose a leather type and then look at the individual bags because the leather can vary from bag to bag.

Yes, reissue does come in caviar! I have seen in person a black caviar with ruthenium hardware and a charcoal grey caviar with ruthenium hardware.

Hope that helps!

It does help a lot!! Thank you for all the advice and information!

I'm quite excited and eager to save up!!!!

Wow it is beautifull!! Love it! Would you do a mod shot please?
Do you mind me asking where you got it from?
I'm debating between 224 and 225.

Thank you!

Thank you! I will post a modeling shot when I found some time and daylight :-)
I got it preloved.

Wow! Absolutely stunning. [emoji170] How are you liking it so far?

Thanks! I love it! So cute and elegant. The color is to die for [emoji170]

Absolutely beautiful!!
Where did you find it? I have been desperately searching for a 224.

Thank you!! I bought it preloved :-)

Hi all 224 experts, is 224 very hard to be found or it is always available? Is it considered a seasonal piece like the classic mini? Thanks
In the past few years, Most collections included a 224 in a few colours. This season I have seen it in navy, tweed, black and burgundy. It's a seasonal piece so no quarantees...

Where have you usually seen the 224 - department stores or the Chanel boutiques? I've been desperately searching and have only come across 1 this season, but wasn't a fan of the double stitching.
Thank you so much!

Yes I saw the black with the double stitching and I wasn't too keen either! It's a very sporty look. I saw them in Bond Street boutique. I wasn't especially looking they were on display. In the past I ve asked for them and the assistants did not know what I was talking about. It's worth trying to speak to the specialist person who deals with bags in each boutique.
