All the sizes work crossbody! I have them in sizes 224 to 227 and they seem to fall on around the same place on my hip. Hope that helps

Yes, but on the reissues, I think they are very similar. I have a 224 and 227 and I have tried on a 226 and all three are pretty similar.
so interesting how it looks on different people. i am 5'10, it looks longer on me? maybe it's just an illusion?!

I took some comparison pics to show how the 224 looks on me crossbody. For reference, I'm about 5'5".
The top left 2 pics are rectangular mini, top right 2 pics are square mini and bottom right picture is the 227. All bags are worn crossbody.

Which size of the reissue comes closer to the original/first flap bag Coco designed? Please let me know! I'm curious as which one would be the closest to the very first one.

Ladies, I'm looking at buying a red or grey reissue bag next. I have a few questions since I'm really new to this!
Which leather is MOST durable. I want no worries in stains, color transfer, denting, etc. I know none are bulletproof but which leather is best for everyday wear?
Lastly which size reissue would be equivalent to the a medium/large classic flap? I'm so confused. You see I have a jumbo classic flap. I would want the next size down for my reissue. Which size is that?

I would suggest distressed calf in size 226. That's bigger than the classic m/l but smaller than the jumbo. The 225 is slightly smaller than the m/l. I'm excited for you! Reissues are the best!
I'm super super excited too but need to say that this "planned next purchase" is really a long way away. I need to save a lot of cash and I need to get the hubby "on board" with my plans!
But I have already cut and paste your recommendations onto my clipboard and will start visualizing it more clearly in my mind! I believe that when one visualizes something hard and often enough.. it tends to come true! Hehehe!
