Haha, I am quite the opposite. I have always wanted a 224 as an everyday bag and it has to have RHW! This dark purple meets my needs :-) I hope you will find a 225 with GHW soon. Would you consider it in another colour or leather?

Yes there is :-) But when it comes to the contents, I am probably able to squeeze in just one more item in the bigger one. Both have limited space but they are so adorable!

Not really a 224 flap, but a mini 224 Lambskin camera bag. It fits a little more than the flap so I can use it for everyday with jeans. Matt metallic silver looks great with grey cashmere...

CHANEL brings out a camera style bag almost every collection.- but they may not be on display so ask them.The last one I saw a few days ago, was a little bigger and less distressed. The main difference though, was the chain was adapted and you could only carry it double. This style you can wear it single. I ll post some modelling shots when I get a chance.

Thanks for the info! How nice, I would love the option of wearing the chains single or double, wonder why they changed it. Chanel did that with the mini flaps too :-T I'd love to see modeling shots when you have the chance, thanks!

For anyone who's interested, there is a preloved black 224 with GHW at a local reseller store (local for folks from Singapore that is). I believe they ship internationally. Good price (about USD3.3K) considering that it retails for USD4.7K now.

The box however does not seem to have the correct details of the bag. But this reseller is reputable. I have seen their bags in person. :-)

Was wondering if anyone can help me with a quick question!

I have been offer with a preloved 224 (yay, the new prices is a bit ridiculous) basically all looked great but am wondering is the inner zipper compartment sewn shut? Meaning it is actually a fake pocket that can't be access?

With my 226 it is not sew up so I can place small item inside.

Wondering with the 224 because of the size it is sew up but the zipper is still there to keep up with the aesthetic of the bag!

Thanks for any advice!

Just checked with my 226, actually that is sewn shut too! Silly me! Must have mixed up with something else in my memories!

If you are talking about the zipper on the flap of the 224, just to mention that mine is not sewn shut. The pocket is very shallow - about 1/2 inch wide, but there is space for a folded bank note, ( which I like to keep for just in case).

+1 mine (224) too. It is not sewn shut. I don't keep anything in it at the moment but I could slip in something slim. I love how this bag has all the same details even in its small size.

I'm in "the market" for a 224! Wondering if anyone can post some more mod shots of them with the 224 vs. Mini? I've seen photos, measurements, but still need a solid photo showing the differences. Beautiful bags everyone!
