Does anyone have a photo of a 224 reissue next to a rectangular mini? I would love a smaller reissue, but the price is so much more than a mini. I know the reissue is a much more complicated bag in terms of construction, but I'm wondering how the size and look compare next to each other. A picture would be so helpful. TIA!

I do! I love both of them :-) But the 224 wins hands down in terms of design due its complexity and quiet elegance.

Try calling Saks because I got a call from the one in Columbus, OH in June for the 224 in black glazed calf with black hardware. The price had gone up from $4200 to $4700. I didn't end up getting it since I had just purchased one in black with gold hardware from Bloomingdales at that time. You can try calling Bloomy stores too since that's where I got mine. It is truly adorable with the details but still classic in design. Good luck!

I'm looking around for smaller fancy purses in a darker color than my bronze 225. I like both the mini and the 224, but would hate to have two bags in the same style. Don't mind me, just blabbering. Post more photos everyone!

I think the mini 2.55 is great for evenings and that short trip to the shops when you just need to carry the essentials. You would probably get the bigger bag in the end. I had 225 first, then the smaller one kept haunting me. Now I own both. In fact I have all the 4 sizes!

I love both but ended up with 224 black ghw because it is rare. But i always want a 225 ghw as everyday bag. I am considering a 225, but i really like it with ghw not rhw.

Orangesherbet, love both your bags - there really is a substantial difference when you put them side by side like that.
