Green will bo for sure first colour - if I ever decide to have something besides black, grey, beige and white LOL.Do you guys know if it's possible that newer reissues have different shade of aged gold hardware than the older ones?
Reposting because no one answered in the mini bag thread haha. The 2.55 reissue mini, is the strap sort of heavier than the bag itself, like disproportionate? Thinking of getting one but this would deter me. Thanks!
Can I ask how you've found this bag? I am considering purchasing it but my friends think the color is ugly ... but I can't stop thinking about the color!
I saw some photos of it on this forum and loved it, and I was in Paris right when the collection was released, and luckily for me they had it in stock. To be honest, when I first saw it in the artificial light at the boutique I had some doubts, because the color seemed to differ from the pictures I saw, but it looks lovely in natural light, very bright fuchsia which I love. I have received many compliments on it.
Not as bad as the lambskin rect mini. The mini reissue is better balanced in that sense. The lambskin rect mini bag is super light while the chain on it feels substantially heavier. I don't mind or notice when wearing either bag though.
Has anyone noticed the aged calfskin leather on recent bags being thinner than normal?
I know the quilts aren't supposed to be puffy like the classic flap but I looked at a few black 225/small size recently and they felt so flat. Like, when I held the leather between my fingers (when opening the top flap), there was no give and it felt like there was nothing inside the quilts.
Not sure if this is another way Chanel is cutting costs or just decline in quality of leather in general.

I just received my first mini reissue by mail. Please advise if the horizontal dents/marks on the flap are normal? Is this how aged calf skin should be?

Characteristic of age calf! It’s beautiful! I have a clutch from maybe 2018, it has lot more vintage look on leather, which gives off that retro Vibe! Chanel bags are piece of art, I think chanel does reissues the best!
Added another reissue to my small collection. I parted with my so black chevron mini reissue this year since I added a chevron 225 reissue with aghw. I felt the bags were too similar because of the chevron pattern. So that filled a hole for mini reissue. My SA had a late arrival of this 22A green cutie. (The card holder is from 20B)
Has anyone seen this red reissue in person please? Is this from current or upcoming season? Looks so beautiful
For those of you who own 227’s — do you like the larger size? What are the pros and cons of the Reissue Jumbo equivalent? I’m 5’10” and have an athletic build. I don’t think it would overwhelm me. Does it look much larger than a 226?
