I have not yet... I'm trying to gather as much info myself before deciding if I'll keep it and perhaps get authentication. Any recommendations? I know there's a bunch of threads out there; but wondering which authenticator the 2.55 lovers use?

In-store in Canada. I think it's a random hit or miss as I've seen different costcos carry different brands and bags. But this was the first time I've ever seen a Chanel in the stores... When I search online there aren't any on the canadian costco website either. However, I did see someone had a screenshot posted on tPF from a costco website before but I'm not sure from when or which country - but it had a classic flap in beige and one in red. Initially I saw this bag back in December and it was priced at $6,999.99 cad (about $175cad less than the classic 2.55 black/ghw retail price on the canadian chanel website)... I've been checking it in-store here and there and saw that they dropped the price this past week to $4,999.97 (so I bit the bullet!). It came with authenticity card, the authenticity sticker inside and the white chanel dustbag. . I just noticed the shape of the dustbag that came with this 225 bag and the bottom also bows (to match the shape of the bag?... is that how it's supposed to be?) I have a classic flap and I think the bottom of the dust bag is straight.
I find it astonishing that someone found a Chanel bag at Costco!!! I did a little search online and there were some comments back in 2009 that Chanel bags were spotted in Costco. Chanel responded that Costco was not an authorized reseller. I wonder where Costco sourced the bags.
Anyways, amazing find...perhaps I'll have to pay more attention the next time I visit Costco!
I did come across that thread too and read what you mentioned. Which prompted me to ask the guy that helped me grab the Chanel purse off the locked display shelf about the return policy for this purchase and whether costco guarentees authenticity. He mentioned that the regular costco return policy still applies and it's authethentic (he went on about a big retailer like costco wouldn't sell fake and if I wanted to bring it in to a chanel to compare or get authenticated for my ease of mind). It made me more at ease to buy it first and if I decided not to keep it, I can still return it as long as it doesn't look worn!
THey give the same white dustbag for both the classic CC flap and reissue bag. If the dust bag is empty, I can see how the bottom can 'bow' but with a bag that has a flat bottom inside the dust bag, it shouldn't bow.
It was $5600 here in the US when I saw it! It was before the price increase. If I’m doing my math correctly, it seems like you got a great deal!! So lucky!!

Hello, I’m new to the reissue train. I recently got a pearl-colored classic flap M/L in caviar and I really loved the colour. I’ve always preferred the CC classic flap but I stumbled across this white reissue in calfskin leather and I can’t get it out of my head. I always prefer gold hardware but this tarnished silver on white looks good in ways I never imagined! Can I get some feedback on light-coloured calfskin reissues? This one is 9.8” in length so I’m assuming that’s the M/L size.

I would say it’s the prettiest RED color ever for Reissue! It screams luxurious! I saw it in the store once. What a great purchase! Congrats, dear!
I have the 226 and I would say that it is. But I’m also used to heavy bags and this is one of the lightest bags that I carry.
