Hoping some experts on reissue bags, (particularly mini / 224 size) can help me out! I’m about to pull the trigger on my first Chanel bag - it’s pre-owned in pristine condition and the seller refers to it as a Chanel reissue 2.55 mini, which as I understand it means it’s a 224. From the pics that she has posted it very much looks like a single flap, but to my understanding the 224 bags were double flaps, the same as all other sized reissues.
Am I wrong in thinking a mini and a 224 are the same thing? And are there single flap versions as well as double? Will greatly appreciate any insights!

The reissue mini that was introduced last year has a single flap and has, more or less, become part of the regular collection (please correct me on the offering if incorrect). The mini prior to that had double flaps and were not part of a regular collection.
Ah, okay. Thanks very much. Do you happen to know approximately how much the new reissue minis retail for?

I bought a black aged calf with aged gold hardware a couple seasons ago and it was $3500 USD and I bought a tweed from spring or cruise, sorry can’t remember which and it was $2900 USD. When the original double flap 224 were being produced, if I remember correctly they were about $400 to $500 less than the m/l classic flap.

Here is a photo of the bag with the tag, it’s not a super pink bag, it’s more of a beige with pink tones of that makes sense....

I love it! It’s a beautiful neutral. The tag is a bit blurry though. Do you still have it? If yes could you just share a picture of it alone please? Much appreciated!
I’m sorry that’s the only photo i have with the tag, I don’t think I still have it.. I’m not sure why it loads in here blurry as it’s very sharp on my phone. I’d be happy to email you or text you the high resolution original if you want to private message me your info.
There are no signs of wear on it and it is very firm/structured compared to my other reissues. I use this bag a lot when I travel or as a casual bag so it gets some pretty hard use, I’m very impressed as it still looks new.
What did you decide? I bought one preloved and decided I could not deal with an imperfect bottom,

I exchange it to another one with a bottom that was ok to me. Now I am glad I have a reissue in my collection and it is my go to bag ( beside the mini rectangle).
It is low key but very chic.
