Both look great on you! I think it really comes down to fun function you want it to serve. The mini is limited for weekend and evenings for me. But the small size is more versatile for day use. Totally up to what your needs are. My vote is for small!Went to the boutique and tried the two sizes on. They did (of course ) not have the colour combo that I wish for. But at least I could try the two sizes on. The light colour I also liked actually. But anyway I am not buying at the moment, need to save up first. Just researching so I can get completely clear on what to wish for -

This makes sense, I actually looked at her page after her unwelcome comments (she claimed my purse was super expensive and beaten up) and she was selling a few fake designer bags (chanel, gucci, LV) for 125 dlls each, go figure! she probably thinks that's what a chanel costs...
Hi! Has anyone seen the 2.55 reissue in lambskin? I came across a vintage one in lambskin and not the distressed calfskin and I really liked it. Maybe it wasn’t real. Not sure if the reissue was ever done in anything but calfskin?
Don't be offended! Some people "get" distressed leather, and some people just don't care for the aesthetic. I'm in the former category....I think it's gorgeous (and don't have any yet!).
I have a 227 Reissue in caviar and it is 100% authentic. So it really does vary. As much as I love caviar, on this bag I would have gone with distressed calfskin if I could do it again. That being said, it's a stunning bag.
That is incredibly beautiful, more of a camel color. I really, really love your bag! I would gladly carry this bag over a beige bag, as I would live in fear with the light beige colors Chanel does.

I was new to Chanel when I bought my bag (and I'm impressed with myself for choosing such a great bag early in!) and have since seen it with distressed leather and really like it! 227 is a fabulous size!
That's a great question! To be clear, I love caviar leather, and I love my bag. I fell in love with distressed leather a bit later in the game and think the reissue looks fabulous with that option. I do like that my bag is not commonly seen, and as it is not a new bag, it also has the Bijou chain, which you also don't always see.
There is someone else on this forum that has a black caviar 227 reissue with RHW like me, but I don't remember who it is!
