Wonder why they say they haven't got any when they have. So rude!

What colour mini did you end up getting?
Yes it was an odd encounter. I think availability of minis truly is low in Paris, I don’t think people are necessarily lying to us (a la Hermès) but this purple color mini just sitting out there on display in the middle of the floor (not hidden in a cupboard or a corner), I mean it was there for all to see. Makes me wonder if this particular person does not know the merchandise very well.

Was in Paris for the weekend, looking for a classic flap in black lambskin with GHW. This was not available in any of the stores I visited (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette, Rue Cambon both locations and Avenue Montaigne both locations). They did have lots of stock in caviar, but lambskin only with SHW. Did not see any mini’s, nor black 19 bags, which were highly sought after by a lot of customers. They told me that new stock will arrive in Monday and that next week also the new collection will be in stores.

By the way I was looking for a Jumbo - not sure if any M/L’s werd available in lambskin, I believe they were. What also struck me was that most SA’s were trying to talk me out of the fact that I was looking for a lambskin and they were really pushing for me to get a caviar one instead. I was however not fully convinced as this season’s caviar does not seem to have any puffiness, even less so compared to the lambskin version. 1 lambskin version was available af Printemps by the way in Friday but the next day this was gone and there wasn’t any other lambskin with GHW left in all of Paris I was told.

Visited Rue Cambon and Galeries Lafayette last week. I made an appointment online for Rue Cambon, but for some reason they cancelled on me the day before. I reached out to the SA I made an appointment with and she told me to just mentioned my appointment with her when I get to the boutique tomorrow. I went in the next day (Tuesday) and there were a lot of people waiting inside, but I only waited a few minutes for a SA (I did mentioned I had an appointment with a SA at that time). They ended up giving me another SA, which I can only assume it's because the SA I mentioned was busy at that time? I was looking at fine jewelry and was told a new shipment came in that week. When I asked about mini and coco handles I was told there weren't any and was shown WOC instead (black in GHW (caviar) and SHW (lambskin)). I was able to get the mini coco crush ring I was looking for and take a picture on the famous Coco Chanel stairs.

Galeries Lafayette had a long line on both the first and second floor boutiques on Thursday. I waited for about 10-15 minutes to get in and even then their stocks were limited. A lot of people left empty handed.

I will be in Paris in two weeks and am hoping to purchase a WOC black in GHW (caviar). Did they mention whether that usually sells out fast or not?

I am currently in France and agree that stores are very busy and stocks are low. I believe that April and May are busy not just due to external tourists, but also French tourists, since this is the final week of spring break. France is divided into three zones for school holidays so spring break has been going on for six weeks, 2 weeks each. Plus there are the regular spring holidays: Easter, May Day and on May 8 Victory Europe day.

At the Ave. Montaigne boutiques i was shown 4 m/l classic flaps: two black caviar (one gold and one silver hardware), beige lambskin with silver hardware, and a white caviar with gold hardware. When the SA opened the closets they were empty! Only one shelf with one Chanel 22 bag! Ready to wear was slim; there were primarily pieces from past seasons I did make a fine jewelry purchase, so I’m thrilled!

Any particular reason what’s happening on the 25th May? Appts are fully taken apparently
It's a national holiday that day, maybe that's why.

Last time I was in Paris in February (Valentine's day), I did not really need an appointment and got helped immediately at Bon Marché and had to wait only 10 minutes at Av. Montaigne; didn't see any lines. But judging from the reports here, it has become much busier since then?

Am new to Chanel. But paid a visit to 31 RC this morning. Was within first 5 to get in. I saw a lady score a caramel small cf in caviar.
My SA got me a black CF medium GHW. No purchase history here, no appointment. Walked in. This is the second Chanel I’ve been to in France with CF in stock.
She shared with me Black with SHW, Jumbo size or other sizes had to be checked but maybe available. Colours strictly not avail (before I saw the aforementioned Caramel).
Coloured Reissue no, blacks only. 226 had a bright Pink on display and available.
I got a pair of earrings from her as well.
They were able to deliver to my hotel.
I have asked her to contact me if Beige Clair or C19 per 22A Burgundy comes around. Don’t have high hopes but will keep looking!

- Minis not avail
- Vanities not avail
- C19 not avail
- SLG only long wallets were shown

I was shown the bag upstairs at RTW section. :)
Have made appointments across the stores in the coming days, hoping to get a Beige Clair CF in GHW.
