I know how it is when you desperately want an item and you have to do so much on your end to get it only to have an SA that is unwilling to help treat you like you need to be loyal in order to get it. No, it's on the "reserve" list and not there yet. He suspects by Tuesday though. You know, if I do get it and love it that's exactly what I'm going to do - parade it in front of them.
Oh sweetie, trust me you are equally important, if they just took the time to help us then they would realize that we aren't the type of customers who constantly buy and return. I think the problem is with the big cities. There is so much wealth in Miami, NYC, Cali, they don't really have to work for their money - hence the arrogant attitude.
I'm just a "little" person to them and of no importance. Better to look up stores out of California, Miami, and NYC.
I know returning is a pain but there doesn't seem to be any other options. I'll let you know what happens with my visit tomorrow.
Killerlife, can I ask if the M/L sizes went up by $500 instead of the $400 price point for the Jumbo and Maxi? Your list shows old price of $4900 and new price at $5400. Oh thank you, I was worried that I listed the wrong info on the worldwide thread with regards to the price increase because my NM SA stated that all the classics were increasing by $400 across the board and $200 for the minis. Lets hope my SA is wrong with regards to the M/L being increased by $400 and not $500. Take care and hope you are having a lovely day.
My lovely SA confirmed with me today the price increase; her text says $200 for mini's, $400 for classics. Such as life.

I went to my local boutique today. First, there was 2 beige/gold hardware jumbo's left - a woman picked one up right next to me and bought it as I was looking at both shades! One was a bit lighter which I liked so thankfully she did not pick that one up.
He took me behind the desk to the computer. We punched in all the sizes of the cruise "ivory" bags for example. The screen was blank. SA's can see everything available in the US. I went a step further. I asked to see the beige/gold caviar hardware inventory and sure enough there are only 8 left in the US. I saw every store where they were at. Nothing has shipped as of yet for cruise. I asked him about all this pre-selling chatter at the 5,500. price for jumbo's. he said sure, I can presell all day long but it is not going to be rung up until the bag gets there with the price. One girl did ask for my cc card on Friday when I reserved the ivory jumbo. She also said it will not be rung up until the bag arrives. ladies I strongly believe that we will not be getting these cruise classic bags at the old prices. I hope I'm wrong!
So I would appreciate your input. I did purchase the last "beige clair". He said take it home and wait. When the ivory chevron lambskin comes in and I like it better I can switch but pay the higher price of course. I always preferred caviar and I got it. I'm quite leary of white chevron lambskin and it's delicacy of it.
