Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

For those of you like me who were wondering about the price increase on the small classic flap, I emailed Christina, the Neiman SA whose info was earlier posted by someone in this thread. She said that because Neiman didn't have any smalls in the company, they were not given any information on an increase for that size. So I'm assuming that it will be increased like the other classics on the Chanel site...

Well for all of you who are following the price increase saga I have some uplifting news today. I called about my jumbo about the loose the turn lock defect. Manager said oh no, that needs to be returned and I will see if I can find another. By late this afternoon it seems she located one in California. I told my SA I would stop in tomorrow to return the bag and he said no wait until Thursday. He thinks the cruise bags will now indeed be coming in tomorrow (he must have heard it). It's a big store and then said it will take about a day and half to unpack and register inventory. So on Thursday you might get to see both the ivory and beige clair at the old price to make a decision Fingers crossed:biggrin: Oh I hope for us all!!:angel:

I think you should be able to get the old price, but look into if you can preorder. My store doesn’t have any in stock but they allowed me to preorder at the old prices. The bags are due to come in between now and February, so it’s nice that we can preorder at old price

I'm still trying to decide if I should go to the boutique and see what they have before the increase but at the same time I don't want to make an impulsive decision as I don't like to return.

I've stayed away from beige because of color transfer but then I wonder if in the future I will want it because it is a classic shade and who knows how much it will be if I have a change of heart. So I'm trying to decide if I need to get a beige just to be on the safe side and should I get M/L or Jumbo. I love Jumbo but with the beige color I'm wondering if M/L would be best.

Hi, yes anyone can pre-order, pre-sell, whatever they want to name it, but your credit card will not be rung up until the bag arrives. if it is before the 15th you will get the old price. After the 15th you will pay new prices. This is all deception on their part. The bag has to be in stock in their store in front of them ready to go. I wish you the best of luck that your bag will come in before the 15th.:smile:

Thank you! I'm really curious about this. I imagine that it is going up in price since all the other sizes are increasing.. I love the small classic flap and it is difficult to find.

If your collection needs a beige I say go for a beige!! Beige caviar isn't THAT difficult to take care of. Just be mindful of what you decide to wear it with. The jumbo might be better since the ml hits lower if you like to wear it single strapped

Oh thank you as I didn't think about that as I do wear the M/L single strapped and Jumbo doubled so Jumbo would be better. Alright headed to the boutique.

But i just got a txt back from boutique SA and not sure if its been posted but i was told the woc was not increasing.
Again im not sure if all this is posted already but I Finally got some Intel im happy to share: NM sa said shoes are also getting a price increase.
