He took me behind the desk to the computer. We punched in all the sizes of the cruise "ivory" bags for example. The screen was blank. SA's can see everything available in the US. I went a step further. I asked to see the beige/gold caviar hardware inventory and sure enough there are only 8 left in the US. I saw every store where they were at. Nothing has shipped as of yet for cruise. I asked him about all this pre-selling chatter at the 5,500. price for jumbo's. he said sure, I can presell all day long but it is not going to be rung up until the bag gets there with the price. One girl did ask for my cc card on Friday when I reserved the ivory jumbo. She also said it will not be rung up until the bag arrives. ladies I strongly believe that we will not be getting these cruise classic bags at the old prices. I hope I'm wrong! :sad:

So I would appreciate your input. I did purchase the last "beige clair". He said take it home and wait. When the ivory chevron lambskin comes in and I like it better I can switch but pay the higher price of course. I always preferred caviar and I got it. I'm quite leary of white chevron lambskin and it's delicacy of it. Oh my gosh hun. I have no clue what to say with regards to the games that are being played by this boutique or boutiques in general. With that being said, I do know that since some of the 18C minis have arrived and cannot be rung up until the 7th that the old prices would still be attached to those minis. Even my SA stated that if the light beige mini arrives before the 15th then it would be sold at the current price. Not sure why they would say that you will be paying the increased price unless they already are aware that the shipment for ivory jumbo won't arrive before the 15th.

I do agree with the SA that sold the beige clair that you should hang on to it until the ivory comes in. I actually love your beige clair but don't want you to compromise if you are not in love with it. Thank you for keeping us posted, you're a gem.

Also forgive me for saying this but your home is so beautiful and immaculate. My home used to look spotless like yours too hun but then our precious little mess maker, um I mean daughter came into our lives. :lol::hugs::tup:

Hi @fally thanks for answering! I think I'm just as confused now as I have been the last few days. I do know that all the stores I have called have received shoes and SLG's. Is a "mini" considered an SLG? And if they are in the store why not sell it immediately when the boxes are opened and ready for sale? Why wait for this magical "7th" ring up day?:confused1: Maybe it's mini's, but wouldn't this place be popping with pictures of them? Surely an SA can take one out of the back. I don't see anything. The whole thing smells like FISH and I think it was really dumb timing to pull this price increase right before arrival of "cruise" - unless it was their intention all along. Why didn't they pull the trigger November 1st?

Thank you, I do like it and maybe it was meant to be that I got the last one. I was in that store over an hour, and people browsing and always stop to look at the beige bags. It will have to be one or the other, I cannot afford to buy both. I just got my black maxi 2 months ago and still paying for that.

BTW, you would be proud of me. I told him all the stories the SA's told me where he was (he is quite sick with a bad cold though) from he is in training, he is on vacation, etc. I asked him if this place was an insane asylum and who was running it? He said it was!! hahahaha!!:biggrin: I told him i thought I could count on him and he hurt my feelings a bit. I then told him since he did not contact me I was on waitlist at 2 other stores for the ivory. He took it, and so we figured out a solution to get this one since caviar is really my first choice anyway no matter what color, live with it and just wait. He also said word of the increase is starting to spread fast.

Oh thank you, yes I'm a neatnik and understand how hard it is with a little one but so worth it!:biggrin::flowers:

I think some pieces from cruise are coming in, like the light beige jumbo. My SA can't ring it until the 7th because I think that's the official day cruise is released. And because it arrived before the 15th, they're ringing it on the 7th with the current price of the Jumbo. I don't think the sa knows the exact date every bag arrives unfortunately ;( but hopefully the ivory arrives before the 15th! I'm on the waitlist for that as well.

I am!! But I think I'm just going to stick to the light beige since it has SHW hehe. Yes!! I think that's the reasoning behind the magic date haha. Beige clair is a very nice classic beige! But if ivory comes out and you prefer it, I think you should go for the ivory! I don't think you should settle. But if you end up preferring your beige clair then even better! :heart:

Ok, well you can decide then and YES that is the "magic date"! Whew....

I need HELP please. I just took out the bag again, and the little "bar" that sticks out where you put the "cc's" to close the bag seems loose - it is wiggling a bit like a loose tooth. I have 3 classic flaps and none of them are doing it. They are secure. Now what do I do? Is that a defect or is it normal? It was the last one!!! OMG!:shocked:

the part that's attached to the bag? that's not normal. bring it in and they can probably fix it for you!

Not sure how, but I'm sure it's happened to other bags too. They might have to replace the part? At least it'll be fixed though since you just got it. If you want a new one, my S.A. Has a beige Clair jumbo. But she's at NM
