I believe the price increase happened for some of the classics in Canada already. But yes, if I ever get my HG mini, I think it's time to take a break from Chanel. I, too, can't justify the increasing prices with the subpar quality for some of the items. We shouldn't have to go through several new bags straight from the original packaging to find the perfect one. I only like the m/l and the old medium sizes and when the prices for either goes above the 5K mark, it's definitely time to say bye bye.

+1, couldn't agree with you more on this issue. I actually checked each of my bags today making sure that I had inspected them thoroughly even though I acquired them all within the past 11 months. I only noticed ironically on two of the four bags a minor issue. The red reissue has stresses on the thread that binds the leather to the seaming as well as the small classic flap. It wasn't visible but because I can zoom in on it using an I-Phone I am able to see them better now. Too bad I had already owned them for a while thus nothing can be done. The odd thing is that both bags have it on the back left hand side which spans almost the entire seaming. I should have checked at the time but the black flap is hardly as visible as the red. Again with my rant. Sorry. Here's hoping to a few cocktails will help make the weekend better. hahaha And I don't even drink.;):wave::heart:

Didn't you just get the red reissue? Can you exchange it? The threading on the reissues do seem to be a "weaker" than the classic flap.

I don't drink either, but cheers anyhow!

(We're so similar, even our usernames are alike!)

Omg my jaw dropped when I saw in the Canadian thread that the M/L is $6100 now! I remember my bf buying me one only 5 or 6 years ago from heathrow for about $3k!!! Granted it was already cheaper than the prices back then cause it was duty free but seriously???

I'm sure within 3 years the jumbo will be $10k or something.
