$2700 euros is $2900 USD which is basically the price of the GST in the US.

My point was that if the price of the GST has risen up to 2700eur, it is almost 40% more than the previous price. I thought that the increase was supposed to be about 20%.

That is what my SA told me yesterday, when I went in to pay for my GST. She said 20 %. I paid 1950 Euros and am going to pick it up tomorrow. I am going to find out, how much it is now.

That's what I thought as well which is why I had to ask him was he sure as the increase is way over the publicised 20%! He seemed to be certain though. Happy to be proved wrong as the GST increase is crazy!

40% price increase on GST sounds crazy but 2700 euors is what folks in US has been paying for GST.

And a lot of us have considered to be lucky that Chanel hasn't raised the prices on GST in US.




On a side note.....a TPFer mentioned Chanel Hawaii dropped prices on some items as they get a lot of Japanese tourists and Yen has been weak.

Anyone has more details?

Congrats again!!!!! I should have picked up a black GST in Dec in Munich!!!!

That is what my SA told me yesterday, when I went in to pay for my GST. She said 20 %. I paid 1950 Euros and am going to pick it up tomorrow. I am going to find out, how much it is now.

These is a crazy price increase that doesn't reflect the deteriorating quality!
I got a reissue 227 in March for 4300euros. Now it's apparently reached 5160euros. Have they improved the quality or changed anything? No.. Just more cash for them and their shareholders!!
Yesterday I told my hubby: 'look, i saved 800E on the bag!'. He said: 'well you could have saved 4300E by not getting the bag in the first place!'

UK price is £1795 as of today i think the price has increased about 2% ... the normal rect mini classic is £1750

i was in harrods today and spoke to one of the SA and she said only certain bags have increased and it's definitely more than 2% ... she can't tell me which bags tho in specific ... and again the classic flap still remain the same ... i got the info about 2% increase from one of the SA in brompton cross
