Yes, if Chanel introduces new seasonal flap and boy designs, their revenues and profits will go up. Looking forward to seeing what Chanel has in store for the new designs... hopefully pretty ones that I like! :)

I feel better now... i already have my black n beige covered... Looking forward to a nice true red and a colbalt blue in future seasons... and please shw or ghw... really not fond of rhw on the cf.

Ha, I also already have my black and beige clair classic flap :D:D:D

I'm hoping that the Mini classic flap will be still around in the future... But since it's labeled as seasonal and not classic, hopefully there will be some nice colours for the mini at each coming season ;)

It's somehow exciting n thrilling talking about price increase...but when it really happens, it wasnt fun at all 😂😂 it's like watching horror movie
i could still accept the seasonal bags at price 3.5k max...if more than that,seems more worth to get the classics.

Are Machines involved with the "mass produced" bag..absolutely (but not just any machine)..are hands involved with creation of the bag; that would also be a yes, many hands in fact.

The double flap was created to be a higher end bag then it's predecessor, remember in the classic colors they are already very limited.

So, it is going to become very hard to buy a black or beige claire classic flap? All this is going to do is massively inflate the resale market for these colours as they become more sought after. If Chanel will keep producing flaps in a rainbow of colours then we'll still see plenty of flaps on the street.

I think they will be made through this year and then that's it.

It takes two months to make a Jumbo double flap...so she told me.

They'll be flaps but off in some way; not classic. Like the bag in my avatar~

After reading susieserb's post, I checked with one of my Saks SA who mentioned this meeting before and saying she wouldn't know anything for price increase before the meeting

And she confirmed


1) the 10% price increase for pre-fall

2) GST discontinued

3) wocs will be revamped not discontinued although she didn't know how the new ones will look like

4) classics will be hard to locate


I hope none of these is true!!!!


One of my NM SAs still say GST won't be discontinued but saks is no longer getting any new shipments.

I guess we probably won't know which way it goes until Apr/May
