Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

The BG SA's comment comes from H's 2015 cruise list showing price increase for cruise boys.

But the next few months for classics, I hope not 😱

This SA @ BG implies Chanel might have price increase for cruise boy bags that will arrive in the store around nov of this year

At the rate of Chanel increase they should just post a note on their website stating we are going to increase to the same price as Hermes price point. Than we wouldn't have rumors every 3-4 months of price increase

I am not familiar with Chanel shoe pricing. Do you mean the price increase hit shoes around May as well?

My NM shoe SA told me yesterday that they are expecting another Chanel price increase. Not sure if it's just shoes, or everything. She was shocked, given the recent increase.



(Chanel is excluded from the Wed GC event, of course)

Hirsh's cruise list indicated that boy old medium size increased to $4700 from $4200.
Not other bags. So if you are not a boy fan, should be ok. MY SA at NM firmly said no more increase for this year.

What about the classics? Because when the increase happens for the boys doesn't it make the classics only slightly higher than the boy bags?

Yes, the old medium is equal amount with the small classic flap. The classic remains the same
so, I just rushed to get an boy and I will buy no further boys.
It does not have the rationale for me to spend that amount to buy boys.

Not yet. I am tracking it It shipped out on Thursday an is due to arrive on Wed-Thur.

I am looking to get my first Chanel bag this coming OCT for my birthday as a birthday gift from my hubby and i would like to know if there is a price increase coming here in the US that you know before oct. I am wanting to get the GST.

There has been rumors of Chanel price increase on GST since all other items went up on May 1 except for GSTs. But no timeline and still rumors.
