Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

Recently I checked out the price for GST in Italy July 2014 is €1930, compared to the time I bought in Nov 2013 €1790, there's a price increase of €140!

The camelia WOC price is even horrible (but I still purchased it anyway), from €1220 to €1440!

I love love Chanel but price increase again?!?!! This is insane!! It takes me one whole year of saving to buy a classic bag. I was hoping to add one more boy to my collection but I can't keep up with the insane price increase!!

You should get your boy before the increase or like me just buy it after the increase and stop right there.

Yes LV and Dior do twice yearly increases. I recently read that LV actually owns Dior as well. All these price increases take the fun out of buying.

Interesting I didn't know lv owns Dior. LV needs to learn from Dior customer service. Haha

I apologize for the off topic-ness.

Dior only increase by 200-300 each time, so twice a year would mean only 400-600 increase. While Chanel, each price increase is like 500. Ugh.

I did that right before boy bag price jumped. I brought an old medium black boy at the "amazing discount" price of $3900. I love it so much ( better than my jumbo) I want to add one more. But this pending of other price increase is turn me off. I can't keep up!!! That is so frustrating to me!!

I bought a small boy at the old price returned it then the price increased and I bought the old medium... Hefty exchange fee, to get exactly what I want. Hehe

I do love my medium large a lot though.

The reseller market would post bags 500-2000 more than retail especially for color bags.

It almost makes it worth buying for rare colors because you know they will raise the price when the boutique does too.

It makes it hard to decide. I wanted a colored boy bag and a classic black boy bag and now. I have to choose one because I think this increase is ridiculous. I know I will always want the black so I am going to have to buy another designer in red.

I'm in the same dilemma

I have a black boy but I want to add a color boy for collection. Not sure which color ones. Debate between yellow or red😰😰😰😰😰😰

Somehow BG seems still has boys at old prices left. My BG SA texted me a Perf boy flap at old medium $3900. Somehow that is still available and no one grabs it yet! This surprised me!

She also broadcasted to her clients over 100 ladies and no one bought it yet! Can't believe it!

Thank you I saw that as well but I just never got into the perforated design. I might be minority on this forum but I still like boy with with simple quilted desgin. I admire chevron pattern, Dallas collection jewel stitching etc but I just wouldn't pluck down the $$ to buy those designs .

I think it's coz it's most likely a return from cruise...I remembered asking BG before price increase if which of the perforated boys they have left and they only had a new medium at that time

Not sure if it's a return or not but I do remember the Same SA @ BG post a black perforated boy in black in brand new condition! I mean the plastic was still on all the hardware and it was price at the old price of $3900!!
