Someone says the Jumbo is 3600 euro (in stead of 3450) en WOC is 1280 euro (in stead of 1200).
Maybe these people just made a mistake? I hope so!
Hope the prices don't increase for at least a few months.

I think it's a mistake, my friend was just in Paris and said Jumbo was still $3450 last wk. I will be going to Paris next month and hope the prices stay the same bc that is a big difference in price for a Jumbo in the states. It's almost $400 less!! I can't wait

Hi everyone - I just want to verify some information I read in this thread.

1) Classic bags generally increase $500 twice a year
2) Smaller goods (WOC, CWC, mini) increase as well at a higher percentage because of their lower value and at approximately $300-500 per increase

Well last yr there was only one increase, and it was a Big one! People kept speculating another one but it didn't happen, now it's May and I'm shocked that there has not been an increase!!

Do you remember when the last one was and approximately how much the jump was? I tried reading the thread and the before-mentioned was what I found. Thank you in advance - I'm saving for my first bag and want to prepare in case an increase happens soon.

I think there's one price increase a year... but I've never heard/read about two price increases in a year...

well, $500 seems to be right, since it's around 350 Euros... I got my black m/l classic flap in March 2011 for 2500 Euros... In August 2011 I got my dark purple for around 2800 Euros... and now the beige clair classic flap I got in March this year was 3100 Euros... So it seems for classic flaps the price increases around 300, 350 Euros...

Well, in the USA, Europe and Asia price increases happened for sure... you're in Canada, right?
Can't imagine that it would be left aside when price increases happen....

I read that the price increases differ per country - I don't know specifically about Canada but a price increase in Europe may not happen at the same time as in the US and vice-versa.

Pretty much worldwide, although they can be at different times. Last time I believe the increase hit Europe in January and the US was February. I don't think there has been any major increases anywhere since around that time. Everyone was expecting one around the beginning of this year because it was around 1 year since the last, but it looks like Chanel has held off for now. Not gonna count too much on it lasting too long.

Last time in the US:

M/L went from 3900 to 4400
Jumbo 4300 - 4900
Maxi 4700 - 5300

225 3900 - 4400
226 4300 - 4900
227 4900 - 5300

Not sure about the increases in Euros. It was a pretty big hit all the way around though. I'm sure the older prices are somewhere in this thread or the sticky thread for worldwide prices.
