Weird, I just saw my SA yesterday and she didn't mention a price increase. I'm pretty sure she would tell me in advance too. Maybe it's country specific? Going to cross my fingers on this one.

I bought a M/L classic flap in black lambskin in Paris on March, 7 and it was 3100 EUR (no increase so far...)

agree completely! Point I was trying to make is that if Chanel wants to be ultra exclusive then bags should not go on sale at all! ( forget Hermes, LV bags don't even go on sale!)
It used to be that several season old bags would go on sale here or there, but this last sale season the 12A bags were actually on sale.
I just think its difficult to command 6-7-8K pricing for classics but have seasonal bags marked down at every store!

I agree with you completely that Chanel handbags should not go on sale. I actually have the 12A red flap bag and am extremely bummed to learn that it went on sale?!?! I waited 2 years for the "perfect" red, and as you can imagine that "perfect" red came with multiple price increases... and to find out I paid more :/ I am new to purse forum, how do I know if/when you reply to me? Will I get a notification? Thanks!

Umm...so I haven't been on purse forum lately because the app hasn't been working.

I asked my nordies SA recently about a yen wallet, and it's $870? Not $800? When did that happen? Sorry, I've been kinda out so is this new or did already increase earlier this year?

Classic flap bags don't ever go on sale.
