hi ladies! does anyone know what the current price is for a classic caviar jumbo? sorry i couldn't find it in this thread! or i carelessly missed it. does anyone know? TIA!

i am depressed when i think of the impending price increase in paris...i told my husband eiffel tower will be really beautiful to see and actually, i really meant 31 rue cambon chanel will be really beautiful to see....he doesnt realise my real intention ....yet.

the price hike is just depressing. i don't get to go home in San Diego until December and was so looking forward to buying my first brand new Chanel from a store. I'm currently living in Japan and Chanel prices here are crazy so I've been only buying from secondary market. So basically now I'm looking at forking out an extra grand for that purchase in December. Then should I just buy Chanel here in Japan instead of waiting until December since I'll be paying an extra grand either way? ummm....dilemma. Let me know what you guys think. Appreciate ur feedback.

If you know exactly what you want can you order it from the US now and send it to your friend or family? Then you can get it physically in Dec, it's not too far away ;)

Well, in reality, before the HUGE increases started (about a year and a half ago) the Jumbo and the medium flap were only $100 difference. (Jumbo was $1695 and the med/large was $1595).

My SA is looking into it, because the person with whom he spoke said Oct. 1st for the price increase, but the Jumbo is apparently going to be $2995 (reflected in the Cruise prices), and the medium will probably be something like $2695. Not sure. Either way, it sucks, to say the least. I could almost cry when I think about how several of my medium flaps were purchased for $1595... it's not as if the price increase is commensurate with a quality increase! :(

I want to experience that rush when u walk out of a Chanel store with that box on your arm since this will be my 1st time ever. I'll wait until December then, at least I can understand when the SAs speak to me hehe. :peace:
