i agree with you! it's ridiculous that they are trying to appeal to a younger audience while raising there price constantly. they're sending out mixed signals!!! c'mon chanel! i love you but the frequent price hike is getting silly!

I personally think that these posts need to be taken with a grain of salt. In the time I've been on this forum, only 2 of the "big" increases has actually happened. There have been some smaller adjustments to other items but nothing like is being stated. I think that people just need to use some common sense here. Someone posts that some SA said there was going to be a price increase pretty much every month this year. It just isn't worth getting totally worked up over. Aside from not buying and thus not giving them your money, there isn't anything we can do to prevent this.

I agree that these high increases are out of control but in all reality, how many of these rumored price increases has happened?

all i know is that i got an EW flap for around $1100 before the price increase that was in November 2007... I RAN to saks to snag the last one, even though the price increase already happened, they were still offering at the old price. I got a sick deal on it, and now when I see girls post about the EW flap, they are saying they paid $1750 for it!!!

I am getting a GST in the next few weeks while its still $2125... rather then risk waiting and having it go up to 3K...

If raising the prices is their incentive to buy more quickly - it certainly has been working on me! lol..
