Seems like it is a regional thing. HK did not increase the prices when US did in June. I also heard my SA mentioned Nov.1 would be the next increase. But nothing confirmed so far.

i also called the SCP Chanel boutique yesterday and there was not an increase. i dont know what to believe anymore.

Chanel would have to be working w/ blindfolders on to increase the bags in the US. Not b/c they can't or there won't still be people that will buy but b/c it looks almost out-of-touch and insensitive w/ the the economic reality to much of America. And yes, I know that Chanel is not aiming for the "majority" of the US market/consumers, but sometimes extravagance in bad time is perceived as poor form.

I know my SA would be upset if she heard there would be yet another price increase as it would hurt her business. But Chanel will do whatever it wants.

it's annoying to see the price goes sky high, then comes down w/huge sale (40% is huge for Chanel IMO) to boost mid year sale I feel sorry for people bought at regular price thinking Chanel hardly goes on sale, then see the price slash, ouch.

When does Chanel usually go on sale? Are they usually at the Chanel store or department store?

I got an email from Chanel about the private sale couple of months ago but from what I read on this forum, only shoes, clothing, and a few accessories go on sale at the Chanel stores.

Now I'm confused
