Actually, with the way Chanel has been increasing their prices, we would get many boyfriends if we sell 1 Chanel on Ebay, not the other way around. Especially a RED Chanel!

chanel is so confusing-- today i asked a SA if there would be another price increase anytime soon when I was looking at a jumbo caviar flap and he said no they already had one this year. But I also looked at a caviar timeless clutch that said $1295 and apparently they used to be $1150. hm....

yeah, the timeless clutch was $1150 last month. it is now $1295! =D

I hope that's all they'll be increasing this year! I'm trying to save up for a flap now.

I don't they increase GST and Medallions that much because it isn't as "chanel" as their flap and clutches. Also, their marketing team probably knows that if they mark up the totes anymore, a lot less people will buy them considering simple totes are generally the lower end/entry level bags of every designer handbag line. Also, the tote is not as versatile as the clutches and flaps used from day to evening.

I asked a friend to call the hong kong store and it is confirmed that they will increase by about 15% on July 1. Don't know about the US store yet.

As much as I love Chanel. I really can't condone having multiple price increases within the same year!

Come on, this is NOT gas prices which changes daily. This is consumer goods, its styles without a whole lot of changes over the years, made at reasonable prices.

I rather have them make one hefty increase per year, rather than increases every couple of months~!

Now i'm in Thailand for vacation and I've heard about price increase also and I'm planing to get a Classic Caviar Jumbo when I get back to the US too ,so I called my SA which is my friend in the US yesterday....and here what she replied me today by email ;

"I checked with my company regarding price increase.
So far...in USA no price increase at this time.
I will e-mail you as soon as possible if anything change"

I'll wait 'till i get back to the US then lolz
