Hi, sure no increase in the classic flaps? Called the boutique and was told by SA that the classic flaps are the ones that will have price increase. Help, anymore feedback from other SA's?

Just bought my Black Jumbo Caviar Classic Flap, RM9480 at Chanel Boutique Kuala LUmpur, Malaysia on Saturday. Confirmed the next price increase for the above is extra RM$400, ie roughly abt AUS$135, S$172 using current currency conversion rate.

The SA in KL already has a list of the new price effective 1st of May.

I'm supposed to arrive in singapore may 1 and was planning on getting a black jumbo caviar classic flap, and now i find out the price will increase that day... :crybaby:
maybe i should try to get a flight in earlier!!

To answer my own question for anyone who wants to know about the price increases in the states, I went to NM in Beverly Hills today and was told the price increases will happen sometime in May. It will apply to all the classics and when asked by how much the SA just said that last time it was a 20% increase. So then I bought my first two Chanel bags, a WOC in lambskin and a PST in caviar since 1) the prices are increasing and 2) I got $200 off my second bag b/c of their promotion. I'm in loooove with Chanel!! I'm going to have to change my avatar to Chanel now!! :graucho:

Oh NO.. I dun like price increase! i want a classic flap in white caviar... and I dun think i could get it within these few days.. I tot since I will be travelling early may to Taipei, i could get my Chanel there... but with the price increase, i doubt so... Sigh..

Hi and thanks for the info!!! Wow, two chanels in one day! Congrats!!:nuts: I shop at NM Beverly Hills too~ I may have to visit on Sat. to take advantage of this $200 deal.....I'll ask about the increase too and see if I can weasel more info out of them as well....
What color PST did you get? I'm thinking of getting a black, and if the price goes up 20% ,that would be $1,620 plus tax...yipes!:s

Hello! This is my first post. I had to share my Chanel news. I am very much considering buying a bag before price increase. I called a few Chanel Stores and 2 of them are saying they do not know about the price increase. I called the Chanel in Beverly Hills and Costa Mesa (South Coast Plaza). However, I called the Chanel store in Hawaii and they did say it will go up sometime in May. They did not know how much or when exactly. I want to get the Medallion tote this weekend and I am hoping it doesn't go up by then! Wish me luck! Please share me your news if you heard anything about the price increase!
