Now that's an increase I can live with. It's bad, but it's not ridiculous. On the other hand, the speculation on the increase of the GST (around $1,000) I just cannot understand. :cursing:

I got mine a month ago and it was the same price (1260) i was just wondering how it's so much cheaper tax-free!!! gosh!!! i should have waited to get mine from the airport!!!!

During the last price increase in November, Saks decided to be tricky and went ahead and raised the prices a full week before anyone else...if you are purchasing right before the price increase, make sure to confirm that you will still be paying the lower price!

It seems to me that everyone's gettting different info on when the increase will take place. An SA from Palo Alto, CA saids it's going to be May but I'm hearing a lot about April. *fingers crossed* I hope it's going to be after Saks FF so I have more chances of scoring a flap before the increase (I know Saks FF usually excludes Chanel).

I think it was different all over the place., actually, I found and posted bags at Saks still priced with the old price, weeks and weeks after the increase in November....in my area they did not raise theprice prior to the increase, on the contrary....two and three months later there were still unchanged prices on some of their merchandise.......:heart:H

I had the same experience with Saks. In fact, Saks had their system updated so that an experienced SA could enter the item sku before November and find out the new price after the increase. Hehhehh, it was a very good marketing tool because it helped me decide which bag to acquire before the price increase.
