BTW, in case you ever go to Hawaii, their handbags seem to cost more over there. I live in the Los Angeles area and the Medallion Tote I want is currently $2125.00 when I called a couple days ago. When I checked with the store in Waikiki they told me it was $2215.00. It's not a huge difference but it's good to know!

So do you think that the Pre-Fall, Act1 and Act2 lookbooks from Bergdorf might give us good clues to the price increases?

1) I saw that the Jumbos are going up to $2850 (from $2650)
2) GST stayed the same ($2125)
3) Ultimate Soft went up big time (over $2000)
4) WOC stayed the same ($1425)
5) Bubble Quilt went up

Actually, the $2850 is for lambskin jumbos and that is already the current price. $2650 is for the caviar.

The Ultimate Soft hadn't had an increase in quite some time so that was rather unsuprising to me.:yes:

that's the bigger ultimate soft, though, and the smaller one is already $1840 so the bigger one must be close to, if not over, $2k already

So maybe the GST and the jumbos aren't increasing? It would seem foolish for Bergdorf to have a lookbook with inaccurate prices.

Just bought a WOC in lambskin today, it's $1535, is it because of the lambskin? The SA told me the new WOCs are $1535. :confused1:

I just bought a classic jumbo caviar at the costa mesa store for $2650. I asked the lady working there about the price increase that is suppose to happen soon- and she said next week! So, everyone if you were planning on getting a bag- the time is now! I don't suppose ALL the bags will go up price???

And another thing- I actually had bought a patent chanel bag last week and didn't feel so comfortable with it so I went back and exchanged it for the classic jumbo caviar bag today. I still feel iffy- I don't know what it is. I think it might be that I really wanted a 2.55 reissue which I can't get anymore but I really want to feel content about this bag- after all, I should feel lucky that I even went out and bought a bag right?? Please, tell me I made the right choice with this! I'm 26, 5'4" and 115 pounds- does anyone think the jumbo classic in caviar was a good decision?? Please help.:confused1:

Thank you so much for the information... I'm going to be in New York from the 6th through the 9th... Does anybody know if the price increase will have happened yet?

As for the Jumbo, I much prefer the smaller flaps. I think if it really isn't what you wanted or you feel unsure about the purchase, you should return it. It's just way too much money to spend on a purchase you don't feel 100% positive about, and if you're patient, the bag you really want will turn up. Just my opinion. :yes:
