Soo, I was going to pass on the grey this season too because comments about the deflated quilts and the fact that it was lambskin but when I saw it in person it was hard to say no. The grey is truly the perfect grey imo and the silver hardware really compliments it. It really doesn’t seem as delicate as all the lambskins I’ve seen before and I’m so happy to have it in my collection  puffy quilts may deflate over time and possibly unevenly. I don’t know, in my book I don’t have any regrets and can’t wait to use it
Your bag is fab!!!

I stopped by the Walton Street Chanel boutique in London to check out the burgundy and red, with my 18b red in tow for comparison. The SA said that the red was, in his opinion, the same as the 18b but when he brought it out and I looked at them together I definitely saw a brighter, almost orange undertone to the 19b red under both store lighting and natural light. It is still a very pretty red but not for me. I was also very surprised by the caviar this season - it is puffy and looks good from afar but when you touch it, it has a plasticky feel to it. I also asked to look at some classic flaps in black and in beige for comparison and felt that the bags are all overall lighter in weight than my bags from the noughties (2007-2010). Does anyone else agree?

I completely agree. I decided against several black classics (Small) as they felt lighter than my older Chanels. They appeared cheap and even the caviar looked dull and used. None of them wowed me.

I’ve also noticed this and find it to be extremely annoying. They use considerably less leather so the bags are lighter. Some of the new caviar flaps feel like coated plastic, while some of the lambskin (particularly those on the mini flaps) feel like cardboard. Some may argue that this makes them more durable, but in my opinion it’s quite the opposite since the lambskin grade is so low that it looses its bounce and resiliency, in addition to the ability to buff out light surface scratches. Even the hardware is lighter where the cc turn lock no longer has that tight pull when new from the store. Nothing compares to the older classic flaps, they just feel well made; heavy and substantial.

It's what I've been seeing the past few season's on classics. The only one that is not plastic shiny is the white this season thank goodness which is matte with a slight sheen. Wish they would move on already from this type of plastic shiny treatment of the leather.

Both 19B seasonal beige and classic beige clair is in caviar. Here’s a photo side by side. The right is the beige clair. Both very pretty in person
Any yellow tone in the new 19b beige? I keep seeing several pictures with a very slight yellow tone in the color. Also, how dark is this beige? Would you say it’s light or dark beige?

I just saw it this morning at my local boutique & Neiman Marcus. I have not seen Beige Clair in person, but I would say the 19B Beige is a medium-tone, not yellow. It's not light or dark IMHO.

I see no yellow tone in the 19B beige at all. It’s pretty well in the middle, not light or dark beige. This photo captures the real colour pretty accurately. Photo taken in daylight, indoors.

Hi everyone,
Bought the classic m in caviar Burgundy, now I want to wear it with my dark blue suede jacket. What do you all think, yes or no? I mean for color transfer offcourse... I sprayed the bag & the jacket to protect against rain etc... would that also help with color transfer you think? this far I only had black chanels... so no need to worry about those

I wouldn’t.... I think there will still be color transfer.
