Yes apparently it does. I remembered seeing someone trying it out in the boutique however I didn’t take a pic coz i wasn’t interested in large BA. My SA told me they only brought in the small and large size for burgundy, as compared to grey & black which they have in all small, medium and large size.
Some comparison shots of my 19b red mini o case with my Gucci disco and 17b card holder. The 19b red very closely approximates the Gucci. IMO it is more true red than 17b due to the lack of blue undertones. I think this is very subjective. Where some tend to oversee warm I am likely to oversee cool. Each red is beautiful in its own right. One bright and one dark. I’m eagerly awaiting a medium flap in this color.

I had to get 19B white, but 19C white is still my favorite.Thank you! Do you know who bought the large burgundy BA? Saks? NM? Chanel boutiques? My NM SA told me they should be receiving the medium burgundy...I hope she's not mistaken! Thanks!

I’ve finally received this piece. Very happy with it! I was able to see the 19b red color in the store but it was an o case. Please see below for color comparisons:
It really is a hard color to capture on camera. Literally, looks darker in person but the photo shows up as brighter and lighter in my opinion.

Love the 19B red. My store just got the BA medium in red, I couldn't resist her. 19B is a true red in my opinion, just stunning. One of the best reds I've seen Chanel do.

Hi everyone. I’m relatively new to chanel and has been on a splurge since I first got a boy bag from them about two months ago. I saw a vanity case in a new colour but since it is pre fall, I’m not sure if fall/winter will see an introduction of new colours again. Does anyone know if a seasonal colour gets sold out quickly, do they get restocked? I don’t want to commit only to see a better colour come September and have buyer’s remorse (especially since it’s so pricey!). Any advice will be great!
I had been waiting for years for a true red so I rushed to the store to see it. But I finally settled on the burgundy colour instead because it just looks so much more chic than the red. The 19B red is an almost true red to me in person under natural. It looks like a true red under the boutique lighting. But when you look at it under natural light, which was what I did. My SA and I took the 2 bags to the boutique door to see the color, and the red has a tomato/very slight orange/coral undertone, and it's very bright (it was a semi-cloudy day, not gray, not super sunny either and it was around noon). In my book, a true red should be darker, without any undertone (not orange, not coral, not blue, not pink). The 17B red is the perfect true red in my opinions. But the 19B is just much lighter and brighter than the 17B red. You can see a comparison photo between the 19B and 17B red in a previous post.
Here's a comparison of 19B red and burgundy under boutique lighting (unfortunately I didn't make the comparison photo under natural light). When looking at the photo, I totally see why for some/many people, the 19Bred could be a true red.
I will take a photo of my 19B burgundy and a comparison to my 18B dark pink under natural light when i get a chance.
