I went to Chanel at Harrods and there really was nothing! Not just bags, ready to wear too. It was truly shocking and add to that there was literally ONE customer in the 1st floor boutique, trying on a cf in black sml and she didn’t take it. This was at 1:30pm on a Saturday- which should be one of the busiest times.

chanel always seems so busy with their queues?? I guess they will be packed on launch day of cruise

Level 1 at Harrods is for RTW/jewellery/accessories and is usually not so busy, you can effectively walk in and have a look at all the bags whilst avoiding the queues on Saturdays - though I do find the SAs to be super entitled and rather unhelpful.

Ground Floor has always got a virtual queue going (min 20mins wait). I once got served by an SA on the ground floor and it was as if she was doing me a favour showing me the bags. When I was looking at a bag, she even had the audacity to ask "are you buying it or what?"

It is effectively almost impossible to get served at Chanel Harrods and have a pleasant experience these days. Unless you have a dedicated SA whom you have dealt with before or whom has a bag on reserve for you, don't even bother wasting your time.

My experience has been that even on the 1st floor I’ve always had to queue. Hence why I was so shocked. But maybe I’ve just been unlucky

Definitely varies but by enlarge is more manageable than ground floor virtual queuing.

On a side note, how is it that NYC has had 22C collection available and not London/rest of Europe. It's crazy that we have to wait for Friday.

I couldn't agree more. My Chanel buying experience has always been negative at Harrods. They never seem to have anything I want in stock and the SAs have always seem to have a 'meh' attitude. You would have thought I asked for a kidney when I asked one of them to give me her card with her contact details.

Thank you. Let’s hope I can get a coco handle. I went to selfridges last year, the SA was nice she gave me her number. When I messaged her the following week she blocked me not sure the reason.
Contrary to what has been said above, I’ve always had good service at Harrods but granted I haven’t shopped with them in the last six months which seems to be when shortage of bags has occurred. I don’t have a particular SA there either. Also in contrast to what others have said, I have consistently had bad/disinterested service at Selfridges and also been misinformed by them numerous times. So I guess it really is down to who you are assigned to if you don’t have “your” SA.
Good luck in getting your coco handle!

I believe that 22C will only have the Trendy and no Coco handles. You'll have to either get lucky with any residual stock that comes in for 21K or wait for the following season (22P I believe in Jan).

I also don't have a "go to" SA - I think it's rare to come by in London and unfortunately it's more of a transient relationship with them (unless you spend tens of thousands on RTW!!!)
