Yes, I buy RTW from Selfridgres, they remove VAT and I pay here -EU VAT and import tax at the customs.
Hi, I’ve been trying to buy either the beige Clair or the grey CF for a few weeks now with no luck. I’ve decided to wait on the beige now since it is permanent and I couldn’t avoid price increase anyway. But if there any chance or hope at all of getting the grey CF? Or shall I give up on it by now.. I keep trying to ring the boutiques with no luck. I don’t want to make a trip and get told they have nothing as it has happened twice already. Thanks ladies

They definitely are and luckily they ship to Middle East so I was able to get 3 bags from them (burgundy boy bag back in September, white 19 coming my way and burgundy cch for my sister)

Yes the math is good!!! I’m not sure about Harrods but they have free personal shopping service.. you email them and they’ll have someone from Chanel contact you and they respond fast! You can ask in the initial email about shipping to US to save time
I got vat free items on 3 bags shipped to Middle East and like someone else mentioned the math is good!

Stateside…duties are a definite add on but I wonder if they now do ship Chanel bags to the US…definetly did not before unless one was physically present to purchase.
Yes I have to pay duties but most of the time it is less than the deducted vat so you actually save a tiny bit!
Selfridges definitely doesn’t ship to US..
I ended up contacting harrods and they said they will ship it to me to the US since I already have a profile with them. They said I have to send an email to consent to paying customs and that it is my responsibility.
The reason I couldn’t ask my previous SA is because my purchase was done through the generic Chanel email and he never gave me his contact info.
