So a lovely lady called me today and we have arranged for her to video call me tomorrow morning to go through the collection. She is a personal shopper. I have never used a personal shopper before, I was wondering if this service costs?

Hey sorry I forgot to post yesterday. Yes the lady from selfridges called me and send me pictures of the jewellery collection on the mannequin. I chose the necklace I wanted to order and she has now posted it to me and should arrive Monday
Hiya, also to those who are interested in the virtual/remote shopping service provided by Selfridges & Harrods during the lockdown. They can sell the superbrands including Chanel. Here is my experience...
Harrods - I submitted the request online on Thursday but didn't get any response until this morning (Mon), although they said they will get back within 48 hours. Anyway, I was assigned a PS and we talked on WhatsApp. There are other channels available, you can pick when you submit the request. They don't have what I am after but he said we can keep in touch.
Selfridges - when I was impatiently waiting (lol) for someone at Harrods to contact me, I also booked a virtual shopping appointment on Selfridges' website. I was also assigned a PS and she was able to send me photos & videos of bags on the day of the appointment. Again, not what I am looking for.
They were both very friendly and responsive once we are on WhatsApp. No charge/min spend.
Do you mind telling me if they had a good selection of jewellery available? I was also thinking of looking for a necklace or perhaps a brooch. Also do you have a sales history/sa at Selfridge's Chanel? Just wondering as I don't and wondered if it made a difference?

Not sure sorry. I wanted to see what colours they have for the Coco Handle so they just sent me photos of those. I guess if you're looking for a range of stuff/you're not sure what you want, they can probably do a video call with you so you can see more.
anyone know what colors they have in stock for either the classic mini rectangle or the small flap one?
I am afraid you will have to call all the boutiques if you are desperate to find out. Harrods & Selfridges are offering remote shopping service at the moment (you can check my previous posts in this thread). The minis/CF from the upcoming cruise collection will land on 17/18th. But my guess is that the boutiques might not know what they'll get due to the lockdown delaying deliveries etc
