Maybe try Harrods? I was told that selfridges didn’t order the beige coco handle at the launch. I’m also looking for the beige coco handle but in the small.
I agree with Harrods. Go to the Chanel shoe dept first. They show new bags and sell them there; no line. You may get lucky.
Any trendy CC sightings? My contact say they saw non in the stores and no trendy at all despite some of you here are saying there are. Maybe they are not extending to tourists, any possibilities?!!!? Is this part of national policy to serve local first coz locals pay taxes?
my contact was sourcing for the black small but was told at the boutique they dont have any Trendy......were the trendy bags reserved for the locals?
Hi! I was a tourist there. Did your contact go to Harrod’s shoe dept? They sell bags there, and no wait! I tried the small there. Also, there was one at NBS. This was around Aug 17 when I was there.
I am sure your contact asked to check the back, because as usual, only a few bags are on display at a time, and there are more bags in the back. The small was on display when I was there, but my guess is a different bag is now on display.
It’s been nearly a month, so the bag is either sold or in the back.
I even took a photo of the tag in case I wanted the black, but I decided I want a color. There is also a grey at LHR that was in the back (the SA had to bring it out).
Here is the tag from Harrods. Maybe call the Chanel shoe dept and ask if it’s still there.

If you think you might want a medium, there was one at LHR. It’s quite big though, looks a bit like a small briefcase.

In case you might want the grey, here is the tag. This was at LHR, and the bag was in the back, not on display. It’s nice, but again, for me… I wanted a happy color.

As a last ditch effort, you could call Harrods Chanel shoe dept and tell them you saw the black Trendy CC a few weeks and now you want to buy it. See what they say.
I'm a tourist (I live in the US). When I go to Harrods, I typically go to the Chanel shoe dept first to check out the shoes and bags. It's much less drama for me, and the shoe SAs are happy to sell a bag.
It might be the SAs know your contact is a reseller (I'm not even sure if she is a reseller... just a guess that they keep seeing face buying stuff?).
Anyway, just an idea... that bag was on display several weeks ago, so my guess is that it has been purchased. If not, and the bag has been moved to the back stock to display a newer bag (22K pieces), the SAs are super nice and sell to anyone (I definitely looked like a tourist with my casual clothes, huge crossbody bag to lug my water and stuff
)Plan B... are you interested in the Coco Handle? There is a black small/medium this season, 22K, and it's very similar to the Trendy CC. I have Coco Handles, and I am beginning to use them again. I think I am liking them more than the Trendy CC as they are tough, caviar leather, and they have feet. Just a thought here.

My contact finally found a small trendy black in Manchester yesterday , so eagerly waiting for it to be shipped . I already have Coco handle so want to add a trendy to my collection,
