I was just there and it was just a queue, but it was about an hour or so to see an SA.
Thank you! I travelled there in early July, and was able to see. So much better than in the US right now. And we got to the store near opening time, and no queue at all. It was so nice to have luxury shopping back to normal for the day!

Oh I’m sorry I didn’t notice the date! Haha I’m glad you were able to get your shopping in! I was there in April and there wasn’t even a queue. Just walked right in. Same with Hermes and LV across the street. But now it’s insane again. My fiancé said it won’t get quieter till the fall.

Hi All, I recently started looked for a mini rectangular and was placed on three waiting lists this weekend in London - how long does it typically take to get a call back? Does purchase history come into account when they are allocating bags via the waiting list? Thanks

In the UK I believe the wait list items are allocated by order of the list, purchase history has no effect on your position/ chances to purchase.

Thank you! Once you are on the waitlist, do you receive any sort of confirmation text or do you just have to wait patiently until the SA contacts you? I’d love to hear how long it’s taken people in the past to be called from this list! (Sorry for all of the questions I’m new to this)

Just wondering why everyone goes to NBS? It's generally over packed with big queues due to convenience of location for tourists?

Surely the Chelsea and Sloane Street Chanel are better choices for smaller queues? Went on Sunday. No queues whatsoever for Chelsea. Walked right in. Same with Sloane Street? Albeit I prefer Harrods staff as they are generally more friendly. But I always avoid ground floor Chanel where possible. First floor Chanel is better in terms of queue time and more of a relaxed shop?

Hi All, new to all this but I am trying to get my hands on a small black Chanel 19, visited Chanel Selfridges and NBS who bascially advised me to call them everyday Mon-Fri to see if one has been delivered that day. I can see from the thread that some people have been put on waitlists for items, how do you get added to one and is there a more efficient way other than calling the stores everyday?

Have you visited the other Chanel stores? Why limit yourself to just Selfridges and NBS?

When I enquired about the classic flap, the SA just asked if I'd like to be added to a waitlist without me prompting. I assume you can just ask them if you can be added to one!

I personally find that NBS has the best stock even if a lot of tourists go there. Back in 2019 they were the only store to have the mini I wanted in stock so I've just always bought from there.

Fair enough. That said saw plenty of mini when went to Sloane and Chelsea over the weekend. I think because less people traffic.
