@twinkleAA @PurseCloset i just got back my c19 today, to my surprise they actually need some cosmetic minor repairs on the areas that I've highlighted. Not so obvious right! reduced to slight darkening only. They also managed to smoothen the peeled area out too. Other areas that are prone to rubbing, they managed to fix with idk what magic they used. I thought of consigning it out after the repair, but then I changed my mind. this bag is too precious to me hahaha!

Did they just take the bag in for an assessment?
Unfortunately, the hardware is badly tarnished but Chanel can’t do a one to one exchange and can only changed the hardware. The staff and manager told me that once the bag left the boutique, it meant that the customer accept the condition of the bag.
Thank you! really must thank the after-sales team :') Yes, they took my bag in for an assessment and I'm not sure what they did to rectify the areas that i highlighted. The darkening of the leather due to friction is inevitable i guess in this case... so i am really foreseeing bag spa/recoloring is required on the area (provided if the leather does not scruff off or damaged over time) in the future when the 5-year warranty expires.
I'm not sure whether the c19 designed is for casual use or for special occasions given the nature of the leather..... i thought c19 is going to be less prone to scruffing or wear and tear than classic flap but I was wrong.
Yes! better bring it in for assessment as the turnaround time is around 1mth time!!

Is this the 22k collection? I have one and it's hardware condition looks like yrs, and my SA said its normal for that.

The white one is stunning ! Congrats! I just recently got the black one just few days ago. Do you have the dustbag? the time I bought, my SA told me they ran out of dustbag.
