I have yet to use my Caramel C19 from 22A since I bought it in Berlin. Hopefully all good. My other C19 in Black still holds up well..

I've asked my usual SA in NAC. He mentioned that "it's leather peeling and Chanel does not do leather restoration. I need to bring it to bag spa etc to get it fix, if I want to. This is not covered under warranty."

@twinkleAA @PurseCloset I was informed that chanel is unable to carry out with the repair on my c19. Im absolutely devastated and disappointed. They cited wear and tear as the reason but I really disagree with that. How can a day out of usage and probably an hour or two carrying on the chain handle result in the leather wear and tear. I really don’t understand at all…

Thanks for updating n sharing on the situation. Really sorry to hear of this . I wonder if Chanel overseas would be able to look into this? Coz I feel that Chanel Sg somehow is quite limited in their servicing capabilities. If I remember correctly, I read that in another thread, a certain overseas Chanel provide leather strap replacement for a fee , something along that kind of situation. Your C19 looks like a leather strap issue

obvious "wear and tear" would be the leather sewn in between the chain area. however, i do note potential "wear and tear" area surrounding the front chain. really very upset with the quality of the bag... should have spent it on a lady dior instead haha
