Hi ladies, may I know how’s the exchange process for Chanel like? Do I have to exchange at the same boutique through the same SA or any boutique is fine? I recently bought the medium classic flap with rose gold hardware from the NAC boutique and am thinking of returning it. Have not used it yet but there’s a tiny hole which seems to be the leather peeling off??

My SA said it’s not a quality issue and should be just a pore of the leather, so she encouraged me to keep it. However, the hole really bothers me and I’m not too convinced that it’s a pore instead of a defect so I’m also thinking of just exchanging it for the medium caviar classic flap with gold hardware instead. Thanks in advance for any tips!

If it bothers you so much, return it. You've paid so much and you should get a perfect bag. I once received a bag (through delivery) with a small tiny dot (indent) on the cc of my cch and returned it for store credit since they have nothing to replace for me and had to wait for new stock to come. I returned it through my SA at MBS as she was on duty the following day I came down to return.

From my experience can exchange at either boutique but it would be easier to go through the SA you bought from.

Yes exchange it. Going through SA is easier but I know they doesn't like returns.

Thanks all for the reply! Glad to know it’s also possible to exchange through other boutiques and SAs. For some reason my SA was really encouraging me to get the rose gold hardware cf when I purchased it a few days ago. Initially I was deciding between the classic caviar ghw and lambskin rghw but she kept encouraging me to get the rose gold instead. Then when I brought up to her that I am also considering exchanging for caviar due to the hole, she said it’s not a defect and tried to buff out the hole for me. So I left without exchanging it as I thought it looked less obvious under the boutique’s lighting but now that I’m home it looks the same as before :sad:

Classic caviar ghw is always preferred if you intend to sell in future. Lambskin is soft buttery feel but easily scratch. Rosegold is new this season but I believed more to come.

Just buy whatever you prefer and go with your heart. But no, the hole not acceptable for the price u paid.. and your sa. Why like that? Hmm

Wah is that black spot on your finger the leather that peeled off causing the hole? My black lambskin with rose gold hardware (and all the other pieces I saw) also had some small holes on the leather but I didn’t witness any actual leather that peeled off like yours in the pic.

Omg please return if it make you discomfort since it is such an expensive bag. Sadly to say Chanel quality isn't keeping up with it's pace.

The SA doesn't like return and hence she keep saying it's ok? I understand rghw is new but this isn't the way to sell I guess? Small flaw is still a flaw although it's not defect. Do what make you feel comfortable and don't feel pressurised by the SA.

I just bought a so black jumbo from boutique and having it delivered to home tomorrow I thought so black would fly off the shelf so I was surprised to see it in store yesterday.
Did anyone see any so black slg?
