Thank you Whitechocoz. I was wondering if it is normal that they would not return the paper because I thought mine is a customer copy of the after sales receipt. I also thought maybe mine is a free service, so they didn't let me keep it VS online some people has an after sales receipt for the repair that they do. Do you know if this is because they have sent in for repair services which are paid? Asking as this is my first time sending a bag for repair, I don't know if I am supposed to have any documents to show my bag repair history in the future (for example, what if chanel thinks my bag is not repaired by them if I send in for repair again in the future). Thank you.
They should have the record in your profile :)

here you go
Thank you!!

It’s beautiful!!!! Nobody can resists the colour!!! :girlsigh::girlsigh: Yea, I think we should order acrylic boxes and place them in LOL. the cracks are not serious, like a hairline crack. I thought it was pen ink at first:whut: it was funny. Don’t worry about the creases, even the caviar one have creases, maybe it’s normal now? And if we rejected them because of the imperfections, it’s hard to get another one. Glad you pulled the trigger. just bag after all! We should enjoy them! try not to zoom into it! :hbeat:

Like a museum LOL! I can get behind that haha! Totally get it! The crack looks like a pen mark??? That sounds... serious? But I love your attitude. Just use the bag and enjoy right? A Chanel SA told me once, many years ago - "Don't worry... just use the bag... leather is meant to be scratched!" I was horrified at first but it IS kinda true. I mean, don't abuse your bag of course, but if we treat them too delicately, they will stay in their boxes forever! Ganbatte!

Are the tiny cracks happening on the strap itself? I have seen on fb that some other people's top handle also have tiny cracks on the strap! I was thinking is it due to how thin the strap is so the bag cannot be too heavy. Did you notice the cracks before or after you use it?
The wax piping on the handle is tearing, and I found a few cracks on the caviar grains which looked like pen stains at first:eek::lol:.
Should be after using it, I examined the bag carefully before I made payment.

Pipping tearing is normal maybe, I’ve seen same issues on my LV bag. But all four corners are cracking up. my SA told me I can bring it back for repair. But I just can’t be bothered…

The handle part looks like it might worsen though with more use, and is the leather cracking cause it is dry (but I doubt so since SG is soooo humid??) I would have thought I caused all that "damage" if I saw them, but lucky your SA say you can go back for repair. Personally, I have not had such a problem with my other bags with handle. But I do feel like given how much we are paying, the bags should fare much better than this..

Yea! I think the handles will tear all the way up, even if I repair it. It will tear again? I only have this piping tearing or cracking issues with bags older than 4 years old.
The cracking I really have no idea, In fact I moisturise all my bags!! But I’m sure I caused it LOL. It was perfect when it came to me.

I completely agree with you!! They shouldn’t crack anywhere when they are not being abused….

I also noticed the difference for the grains on the this top handle and my other caviar. It’s a lot more dense and tinnier.

:wtf: sounds very horrifying if the handle really tears all the way up. Wonder if this is the case with coco handles as well, or their other seasonal top handle flap bags.

Anyway I think you also mentioned that you use the coach moisturiser? I happened to ask the SA at coach for a set as well previously. Upon knowing that I'll be using on caviar leather, the SA discouraged me from buying, say that their coach one not meant for chanel leather bags. Not sure is it because it is really unsuitable or the SA just don't want me to buy their comparatively more affordable leather conditioner set

I actually thought denser caviar grains = more durable for some reason. But guess not. Anyway nice iridescent biege!

Thank you for sharing. May i know when you use collonil, do you spray carbonpro as last step after leather gel? Does the leather gel function as moisturiser beside cleaning mild dirt?

Hi! I spray them fresh out of boutique (shoes, wallets, bags, etc) and top up every now and then. If i notice there are any dirt or the leather looking abit dry or "tired" then I will use a little bit of the leather gel to moisturize it and then after a day or so (give it time to completely absorb) I will then spray it with the waterproof spray :) In fact, for all my Chanel bags, so far I have not purposely moisturized any bag because if they look fine, I try not to disturb the bag in fear of making it worse (like over doing it).

I think it will definitely tear higher if I use it as everyday. But it’s okay:lol: the lv pochette metis tears at the flap opening too. Coco handles doesn’t have this issue, there’s no pipping, The handles are all stitched!

Hmmm, they will say no, because they don’t want liabilities maybe. But I’ve been using it on all my Chanel bags, and it’s perfectly fine! Just not on exotic leathers.

I use this saphir cream too for deep moisturising but you will have to buff it a bit with a horsehair brush due to the thick texture.
awww:heart::heart: it’s actually the dark beige from this season.

Hello all,

its my first time purchasing a Chanel for my wife to be.

I was wondering if Chanel allow us to split payment?

Like a mixture of cash and credit.

Thank you all in advance.
I am looking for Chanel class mini or small, hopefully there will be stock when I head down when it is nearer to her bday.
Thank you and have a nice day ahead.

I really hope that doesn't happen to your bag, I'll be so sad if it happened to any of mine. Oh I see.. now I'm going to notice how the handles are formed at the bags and notice for this kind of wear

And yes, probably they just don't want to be liable. I wouldn't want to risk it too anyway upon hearing what they say, and also maybe lay off the leather conditioner etc in the meantime. I'm a bit worried that it might take the shine off the leather, or maybe change the leather texture (I.e. smooth to matte?).

Oops! But It's beautiful! I thought it is iridescent cause of the shine of the leather :giggle:

Hi, yes they do allow you to split :) best to drop by and indicate your interest in which bag you hope to get and hopefully you get a nice SA who will contact you once it’s in stock! The markdown has started and I know some 21A bags restocked so you might want to drop by soon. Just went today and I saw quite a bit of classic black gold flaps when they opened the storage area for the bags in the private area in NAC outlet :) good luck!

Hello babe! Is the sale open to public yet?

Wanna say thank you for sharing! I manage to get carbon pro and sprayed them on my beige top handle! Easy peasy and look forward to the protection especially for Color transfer!
