Super slow! Like around 1-2 weeks to reply kind, so in the end wont be very helpful i guess. Cus after 1 week, the reply will be “i will check again tmr, remind me tmr pls!” Then the next day i reply to remind, she just disappear. And it’s been 1 week since then.

And it has always been like this even tho i did make a few purchases with her bfr. Not sure if this is common with Chanel SA.
I think at the end of the day, go with the one you feel most comfortable with and able to get the items you want. As nowadays stocks very hard to get

Definitely no, unless she's on very long leave from work. My SA will always reply on same day (if she's not on off day). And when she finally get a bag for me a few weeks later since our last conversation, she would immediately msg me to ask if I wanted to come down within a few hours or get her to arrange online payment and have it delivered to my plc.

Bags on allocation are usually only offered to VIPs if I am not wrong. And these bags are usually the popular ones that are high in demand.
Jooon is right. Typically need to indicate interest or join the list for these bags on allocation to the regular SA.

Thank you for explaining! Really appreciate it. I don't buy from Chanel regularly so this is still new to me!

I understand now... I think! So this means popular bags are distributed amongst the SAs to sell and they can choose to sell to their regular customers or to walk-ins yes? Or do they usually just sell to their regulars? Those bags not on allocation means that they don't "belong" to any SA and any SA can sell to whoever they like?

I have a very similar experience with you! I started buying from NAC/MBS in 2013 or 2014 I think, and since then, every bag I've bought has been from a different SA and from both stores! I've always wanted to "go back" to the SA that sold me the last bag and try to "build up" a relationship, but whenever I text any SA back... the replies are always delayed, or I don't even get a reply. So sad! And I've tried this with 5-6 different SAs that I've purchased from in the past. Is it because I'm not a high roller? Not bitter about it or anything, just curious!! Maybe it's better I don't build a relationship... means I spend less. HAHAHA!

(But that said, I recently met a really nice SA from MBS who has been responsive and helped me get something last month. Super happy... maybe I have found my forever SA!?!? Fingers crossed...)

So sorry to hear this! I think maybe it's just the SA. Like they already have their regulars. I started my Chanel journey in 2015 but never purchased it locally until late last year (usually bought during my travels to enjoy tax refund). I was lucky enough to have met an SA at MBS who is super responsive when I wanted to buy a classic coin purse (it was oos and I ended up buying a navy chevron classic mini). After that I was able to tick off 4 bags, 2 slgs and 2 brooches from my wishlist (including 2 CCH which she got me back to back) all within 6 months .

yah i think i will just continue with my MBS SA and start build the relationship from here. Hopefully it can last long HAHAHA.
Guess the SA in NAC has too many clients to look after

yea i will think so too. It’s really quite frustrating when the SA replies after 1-2 weeks.
Ohh dear, 1-2 weeks! Then you shouldn’t waste time on her anymore. Sorry, didn’t know you waited that long for her reply. I was thinking maybe she only reply you during her working hours…

but is the new MBS SA pushy? You mentioned that she will update you pretty frequent. If she’s new? if yes, she’s trying to build her cliental. Have you tried asking her for hot items?

That's wonderful! Happy for you! It's amazing when you can fulfil your wishlist!  And LOL on how your coin purse escalated to a mini. But well done on that coz minis are just so ... and hard to get! And chevron! Gosh I love chevron. How are you liking your mini? (rectangular? square?)

And you're right. Maybe I just kenah all the super popular SAs with a long list of clients! Well, I'm hoping this last one I met will be THE ONE. The signs are good so far, LOL.

Good luck! I hope you find your Forever SA too... and get all the stuff on your wishlist!

i think there are also different kind of allocation. Different items may use different kind
One is the type allocated by the office. Likely need higher spending to be allocated.
As for the one allocated to SA, I don’t have much info on this.

I am very certain Chanel worldwide takes into account type of spending. They are likely to consider one a VIP if there is a lot of RTW, fine jewellery and watches purchased regularly. This would be a direct route to sought after bags. Bags, accessories and shoes do not figure as significantly as the other 3 categories.
