repaired a woc recently bought in Paris. Paid $80 for button replacement but was refunded and issued with credit note as the button came off again after a few days. Generally repairs will be charged for hardware replacement

Oh my, hope they repair your woc properly. Sianz when it happened. You would expect better job paying $80. Thank you for sharing.

I think it also depends on your relationship with your SA. My SA told me he will fight for free repair for me even if my bag is over a year old (I was complaining to him cos I bought quite a few in jan and feb before this new 5 year warranty kicked in). I do have bag over a year that he got repaired for free for me too.

Thanks for sharing. You got nice SA, lucky! It is hard to find good SA in luxury boutique generally. It is more assuring to buy when there is such trust level in our regular SA

Your mini looks to be in great condition. Wrinkling for lambskin is very normal because of how soft and delicate it is, most common is where the bag folds when you open up. Even the inside under the flap where it touches the front of bag for mine has some indentation from the stitches. It is inevitable but try to keep it upright (I put bag organizer and stuffing inside to keep the shape puffed) so there isn’t unnecessary wrinkling elsewhere. Don’t sweat the small stuff and enjoy your bag - after all, it’s so expensive and would be a shame if you can’t fully enjoy it after paying so much!

Thank you for sharing all these info. I am pretty nervous as all my bags are calf and goat skin. You are totally right, i shouldn't be too fussed on it. It will defeat the purpose of buying it in first place. I will start wearing it soon.

I second this, your mini looks great, very puffy quilts! It is a must to store it upright with some stuffing (but not overly stuffed) and keep the chains away from the exterior of the bag! I pull and tuck the chains to store inside the bag’s stuffing to prevent it from denting the leather. Also don’t throw the original felt it came with, store it with the felt wrapped around it so that the remaining chains and nothing else can damage the exterior. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing the tips. I will take note of them. Do we need to condition the lambskin with leather conditioner? I forgot to ask my SA. I do with all my calfskin occasionally.
