I never had good experience with MBS, always better at NAC. however many others here also say MBS is better so I think it really boils down to your luck. I hope you get a nice SA and get the bag you want!
I think it also depends on your relationship with your SA. My SA told me he will fight for free repair for me even if my bag is over a year old (I was complaining to him cos I bought quite a few in jan and feb before this new 5 year warranty kicked in). I do have bag over a year that he got repaired for free for me too.
Your mini looks to be in great condition. Wrinkling for lambskin is very normal because of how soft and delicate it is, most common is where the bag folds when you open up. Even the inside under the flap where it touches the front of bag for mine has some indentation from the stitches. It is inevitable but try to keep it upright (I put bag organizer and stuffing inside to keep the shape puffed) so there isn’t unnecessary wrinkling elsewhere. I bought once last year (C19). I wanted brown/caramel but no luck. I was offered the black instead. This will be my first lambskin. I actually pretty wary of lambskin but since they dont make mini in caviar, so i took this.
I tried to look at my mini, using guidance from you. Maybe because my first lambskin, i cant tell whether it is sturdy/thick

I second this, your mini looks great, very puffy quilts! It is a must to store it upright with some stuffing (but not overly stuffed) and keep the chains away from the exterior of the bag! I pull and tuck the chains to store inside the bag’s stuffing to prevent it from denting the leather. Also don’t throw the original felt it came with, store it with the felt wrapped around it so that the remaining chains and nothing else can damage the exterior. I have good experience at both boutiques. Just let them know it’s your first time at the boutique and they will know how to attend to you. It’s ok not to buy during a visit, a nice SA won’t look down on you. I have visited both boutiques countless times without any purchase.
