Omg!!! I grew up around Pasadena and I just live a few minutes away from there now. Haha.... We definitely should go shopping together sometime. I can just imagine what my DF would say when I tell him this..."Double Trouble." I'll have a partner in crime. :p I usually shop at the South Coast Plaza as I find the SA's there to be more down to earth than the ones in Beverly Hills. Have you guys started planning and looking for a venue?

Looking on here I am very surprised how little there is of Chanel's fine jewellery range on show or talked about.

Is there something obvious I am missing? I think much of it is stunning and whilst expensive it doesn't seem any more so than Tiffany or other brands that are discussed daily

I think Chanel makes nice jewelry, but they are not classic pieces and the quality is much different than other brands here discussed. That's probably why there aren't many threads on Chanel Jewelry.

I agree their run of the mill stuff is, and I particularly dislike the things like the CC earrings (they'd need to pay for us to advertise their brand for them) but I think their fine jewellery range is both classic and in some cases different.

I love their fine jewelry but refuse to buy it anymore because if you decide to part with it, you may as well give it away. The pieces just do not hold their value like Cartier or VCA IMO.

I've been thinking the same thing, cos I love Chanels jewelry. I have a necklace and two pairs of earrings. One pair is miniature nailpolish bottles, and they are so adorable :love:

OP is talking about Fine jewelry, not the costume stuff. I know calisnoopy has some camelia diamond pieces and a shooting star ring. I think they are nice but I never see fine jewelry in any boutiques I have visited. Perhaps LA or NY would have them.
I think it's just less accessible than VCA, Cartier or Tiffanys so probably why most don't talk about it or own very many pieces. Chanel isn't really known for their fine jewelry.

The Ala Moana boutique has a Chanel fine jewelry and watch boutique, but I've never been in it. So many diamonds dripping from their pieces, I always just assumed it was out of my price range.

Out of curiousity, I went to their website and fell in love with the Camélia bracelet in 18k white gold with onyx and diamonds. It's not as bad as I feared, probably on point with something similar from VCA. I like it, maybe I'll make it a point to go see it in person the next time I'm on Oahu.
