Hello  this is a good question. I have a black cf but I bought it in 2010: it is a single flap with a black lining. Therefore I don't have a direct comparison.
I think the burgundy is similar but the 21b burgundy is very shiny and has a bit more of an aubergine undertone. The burgundy lining in the black cf has just a tiny bit of a browner shade. But this comparison is based on my memories when I have seen the last time the burgundy lining.
Thank you so much! I just ordered the classic flap and will receive it on Monday. Can’t wait! The pics you posted were such an enabler

Here’s the 21B burgundy zip coin purse next to my classic flap burgundy interior. They are pretty similar in color but depending on the light the 21B looks a bit brighter. First two pictures are indoors and last pic is outdoors in natural light. Hope this helps!
This is so helpful, can’t thank you enough for taking the time to post the pics. I am even more excited to receive my bag now.

Yay!!! Honestly I kind of feel like shopping Chanel is becoming a team effort these days. The limited stock in stores is super frustrating when you actually want to see specific pieces they don’t have. Happy to help! The burgundy is SUCH a stunning color. Please please post pics when you get her!!! So excited for you!

Hello all,

I managed to get my hands on the grey mini flap and it was all fine, but I got it out of the box a couple of days ago to admire it again and noticed on the corner of the flap that the thread had come loose.

I messaged my SA and they told me that the bag is completely sold out so there is no chance of a replacement and she suggested sending it for repair. I do really love this combo but ofcourse its not great to have to repair a bag that I only purchased a couple of weeks ago. This particular store offers refunds so I'm not sure if I should just return it or get it repaired.

Please let me know your thoughts and share your chanel repair experience if you have ever had one.

Thank you x

Do you have in your country as well the 60 days rule (only one bag within 60 days)? I bought the burgundy cf medium size and I am very happy I did it. I really like the aubergine undertone. Who knows when this color will be again in a collection...i have seen in the past other burgundy colors but with a more red or browner undertone.
Which bags do you intend to buy from the 21K collection?
I believe it’s 2 bags in 60 days. I’m looking to buy a classic flap in purple and a 19 in purple.

Personally I would return it since I'm a little bit OCD but it depends how much you want the bag.

So disappointing, right?! I would say, if you absolutely LOVE it, its worth it. I’m hoping and assuming it will be a really easy fix, because just the threadings torn. Everything else looks perfect, not even a scratch where thread popped. Completely annoying and inconvenient to send it in right after receiving, so if anything else than love, skip the drama return.

That's so disappointing. I went through the same thing with a bag I had just purchased as well, and was also told the same thing (sold out everywhere and there was no way I would get another one). I decided to wait until the end of the return period in case one popped up, and if one didn't, I was considering getting it repaired, but honestly the thought of having to send a brand new bag to repair just irked me. Idk how long your return period is, but maybe you could try waiting just in case?

Sorry to hear about this situation. I hope you can find a replacement. You’d never know one might magically appear again. Otherwise you could get them to fix it?

I had a popped stitch on my new Chanel small black 19 when I purchased it last year. There was no stock to exchange it for so I opted to send it in for repair instead of returning it. They did a great job and repaired it pretty quickly. I’ve been using it since and have had no further issues. If you love this gray mini and all it needs is a repaired stitch then just get it repaired. I tried to find this gray mini and it is sold out every where in the US so it is hard to replace if you like this particular shade combo (and the price since likely it will go up by the time a similar color is released again).

This 100%.

I know it's disappointing for new, but if it's the one you love and can't exchange then repair it. Stitches are a common and easy fix. Good luck!
