Was able to snag the 21B gray rectangular mini with silver hardware. It’s a quiet beauty, goes with everything & I love it!
My 20C gray medium caviar classic is on top for color comparison.
I am loving neutrals lately.

Can I ask about the hardware color? Is it obviously gold? It looks pale gold compared to the gold on the black and gold. In some pics it looks a bit silver. What are your thoughts?

Gorgeous! How would you describe the caviar? Is it soft and shiny?

It is definitely softer and shinier than my 27 series jumbo classic flap, and the grains are smaller as well. Here is a close-up look comparing this season’s caviar to the 27 series:

It’s pale gold or champagne gold as my SA calls it. Irl, it is obvious that it is gold but just the lighter gold. That was actually the reason why I ended up getting the bag although it wasn’t a planned purchase. I really love the pale gold since my other Chanel bags have the regular gold.

Ok. I see. That is very helpful. I appreciate your input. I am looking for a dark gray with silver. I haven’t seen much in dark gray from Chanel but I do so much prefer silver hardware. I don’t want to buy it and then not wear it because the gold bothers me. More thinking. Thanks again.

I don’t because I have the 226 black reissue so I didn’t see the need. However, the rose gold hardware feels special enough to add to my collection.

For this collection, I reserved the So Black mini rectangular, the ruthenium with ruthenium hardware rectangular mini, and the heart earrings. My So Black came, but I declined two different ones due to defects (we'll see if the third time's a charm), and the ruthenium mini I declined when I realized it really wouldn't go with my wardrobe. My earrings arrived and I am glad I had reserved these! They are so much prettier in-person. (For reference, one is without flash and one is with.)

Chanel Boston, requires credit card to be on the waitlist, and it will be charged fully in advanced (As far as I understood). I cannot change to the different credit card during my wait time, and of course, I can’t refund it on e the product arrives. If I want to get out of the wait line, I will not be able to rejoin to any kind of waitlist for next 6months. I’m done with Chanel. It has never been like this.

I have exactly the same impression when I compared my two classic flaps. I have exactly the same sizes and colors (but my black Jumbo I bought in 2010).

Really? in NY they require CC info but won't charge you until they have the bag for you. That's ridiculous
