I'm ok with them getting dirty and scuffed. I meant mileage, do the canvas or leather ones last longer? I read about some quality issues with the soles.

I got mine a year ago (black leather) and they are still holding up. When I travelled to Paris last September - it was my main shoe and we walked ALOT in Paris - I was scared that i ruined them but no -they are still holding up!

In Paris one day I had an emergency when it rained, I had to switch shoes because I knew rain would probably kill these shoes.

Yes, the difference literally is just that the double soles has 2 layers of jute as oppose to 1. They are definitely thicker and much cushy for me!

Hi, I did not buy these but the beige & black in leather.
The canvas were available in Barcelona last monday. They are from pre fall, so I think they are no out everywhere yet.
