I've got double soles, they are still in good shape after wearing them non stop in the summer and fall last year. They obviously won't last forever but they've lasted longer than all my other flats. I'm thinking it's because they have a thicker sole.

I personally think they are good quality but as with any espadrilles you're likely going to come to z point of having issues with the unravelling I would think it could be repaired. I'm not sure if one is harder wearing than the other I think each has its pros and cons so depends on what you're looking for.

It was my big toe mostly. They've only stretched a tiny bit since I only wear them occasionally (usually only on weekends for a few hours).

Hey pink_pickles! These are super cute, but since you asked, I really believe these will show dirt very quickly. Maybe even first time using as they are canvas and bright white. There will be new one's if you're worried about these looking good long term-I'd suggest waiting. You won't have to wait too long. Make sure to subscribe to the "Authentic Finds" thread as many are posted there but make sure to reply fast as these sell quickly. Also, you may want to post in the "ISO: In Search Of" thread that you are looking for espadrilles (if certain colors or fabrics indicate) and what size. You'd be surprised how much we try to help each other here on TPF. Hope that helped:)

i tried to take them in shade and in direct sunlight. and i also put the only true red purse that i own next to them to compare colors. these are definitely a true raspberry red color, and not a deep red. at least that's how they look to me.

also, i noticed these fit a bit looser than my all black leather espys from last season. i don't know if maybe they are a return pair and someone with big feet stretched them out, or that's just how they're made. they still fit though and don't come off when i walk. so i'll probably keep them. what do you guys think? and be honest! :D

I used fabric glue to fix the unraveling issue. I think I learned that tip on this exact thread actually. It worked!
