received my white leather/black cap toe beauties in the mail yesterday. Sadly, they were marked "floor sample" which i was shocked that they would even leave the sticker on.((. To top it off, there was a scuff ( very minor) on the inner part of the right shoe. I refuse to pay nearly 700 bucks for a pair of shoes that are not in pristine brand new condition. Sadly, back they went.
Well, they are handmade. Each craftman's hand varies which causes slight differences in the sole I'm assumingHi, I am new to purseforum, but have been a long time reader of posts, I am hoping this is the right place to post a question? I have read through the posts but not seen the answer to this question...I have 2 pairs of Chanel espadrilles, one black canvas double sole, another leather single sole, and now I am looking for a new leather double pair, however I have noticed that some of the leather double soles seem to be less "chunky" and seem to be a lot lower, but still considered double, my black ones are relatively chunky and high? is this normal that the soles differ? Thank you..
I personal messaged youMy sales associate at Bergdorfs may be able to get espadrilles (and any other brands, bags, shoes and accessories for Dior, Chanel, etc.) so contact me if you want her card & info! It's tax-free if you ship outside New York as well I believe.
i have navy blue suede, black leather, and red leather. i just got my red leather pair, but i have not worn them out yet.
i sprayed a generous coat and let it dry for a few minutes, then sprayed another coat and let it dry as well, and that was it. it doesn't take long for it to dry.
The SA I dealt with NM said that in AUS you don't pay tax on anything until its over $1000 - that is really good. We pay 20% on everything pretty much. It sucks but needs must with these shoes. My SA is pretty terrible though. She has processed my purchase and I have the e-receipt but she hasnt responded any of my emails over the last couple of days and I want to know if they have shipped![]()
I got the same shoes! do you know how to keep them clean?
Someone had mentioned colonil waterstop and uv protection spray. I got the spray off amazon and thinking of using this on my espadrilles before I wear Em
that's what i use. don't know if it works, but my shoes still look new. but then again, i don't wear my more pricey shoes in crappy weather. that's what my target or old navy shoes are for!![]()
Nice. What color were your espadrilles? Were they a light color? Also did you just spray once or respray once in a while? I love the white leather espadrilles with black toe but if they will get dirty too easily I'm afraid to keep Em. Hoping the spray will do the trick. Thanks.
