I bet they taste just as good as they look, I mean, why go thru so much trouble to make something taste less than perfect. I've worked with fondant before, its very easy to use to shape things, as long as the fondant has the right consistency. I usually cheat and just buy the prepackaged Wilton fondant to make tons of stuff my latest was last May for son's graduation I made mini graduation caps and diplomas. The fondant bags will harden and those can be saved practically forever, as long as they do not crack, of course.
