It's legit, it's been discussed here before, and it happens from time to time... apparently Costco effectuates buyouts (not directly with Chanel, etc, but rather, authorized vendors who carry some of their pieces) which sometimes include designer/ high end goods. There's a Dior watch at my local NJ Costco behind glass.

Your costcos must be different than where I live. A few months ago my husband thought that we should get a costco membership for the good prices/deals. I took one step inside and left. I felt like I was in a crowded place after someone pulled a fire alarm. A bit too intense for me. haha

No it's not pleasant for many people, myself included. I have no idea why my husband enjoys going there, but then again he does not understand how I can amuse myself at Chanel for hours, so it goes both ways!
