I don't mind bringing my Chanels to a club or concert. I would bring my e/w caviar, since it's more durable than a lambskin flap.

I learned my lesson not to bring my good bags to a bar or club. I had a good bag with me (brand new) and my bag got into a small bar room brawl with an apple martini, ew, it was sticky and smelly! It ruined my night as I was fretting over it the rest of the night.

absolutely not! i'd never, ever bring a chanel into a club/pub/bar etc! i had a friend who insisted on bringing her chanel with her when she went out clubbing one night, and lo and behold, it got STOLEN :s

No way, never. Unless I'm going to a posh restaurant with live jazz band or something where I would be sitting down at a table. Never at clubs, raves, parties w/ LOTS of ppl... I bring a beatup coach hobo for those occasions or little burberry pochette

LOL -- I think I need to clarify that when I do bring my chanel pink to clubs, I ALWAYS keep it right on my shoulder with drinks far away!

A lounge maybe. A club? Prolly not. The chance that some idiot might spill their drink on me or burn my bag with their cigarette is too high. When I go out to a club I usually don't bring a purse at all.

I've taken my Cambon pochette to the club a couple of times. I can't say I'm 100% comfortable doing it though...

I would carry a bag that I wouldn't care if it got ruined- too chance-y to bring a Chanel....
